07-2022 5th Planet Games announces the development of a next generation Multiplayer real money casual game with the Hugo IP in partnership with Funfair Games

COPENHAGEN, April 8th, 2022: 5th Planet Games A/S (OAX: 5PG) is today pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership with Funfair Games in creating and publishing a real money, multiplayer game based on the Hugo IP; the game will be one of the first in the new genre of casual ‘crash’ games.

In the hit Hugo TV-game show from the 1990s one of the most popular and iconic games was Hugo flying in a red twin -prop vintage plane through clouds and storms trying to avoid a crash in order to fulfill the level, complete the mission and win the prize; recognizing this part of Hugo’s heritage Funfair Games and 5th Planet Games have joined forces to take Hugo into the future with a new fast-paced Hugo real money ‘crash’ game planned to be launched worldwide later this year.

announce that ‘Before Your Eyes’ a video game developed by Los Angeles-based
Goodbye World Games last night won one of the most coveted awards in European
Games by picking up a BAFTA Award at a high-profile event in London.

‘Before Your Eyes’ scooped the award in the “Game Beyond Entertainment”
category; the award recognizes titles that impact players by delivering
transformational experiences beyond pure entertainment, they often depict
social, emotional and/or political issues. The title is co-published by 5th
Planet Games following their investment agreement with Skybound Entertainment

Skybound has through the subscription of shares in the Second Tranche acquired 36,129,608 new shares in 5PG. Following the acquisition, Skybound holds a total of 57,807,373 shares in 5PG, representing approx. 35.2% of the shares and votes in 5PG. The acquisition has triggered an obligation for Skybound to make a mandatory offer pursuant to Danish Capital Markets Act.

Skybound will put forward a mandatory offer to acquire all 5PG shares not held by Skybound within the four weeks deadline stipulated by section 6-10 (1) of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act. The offer price in the forthcoming offer will be NOK 0.60968 per 5PG share, which is equal to the subscription price paid for the shares in the Second Tranche and represents the highest price Skybound has agreed or paid for shares in 5PG during the last six months.
