“Design Win” betyr vel at det er besluttet at det er CrayoNano som skal benyttes i dette produktet.

Merk at Aquisense er en del av Nikkiso Group, som bla. opererer innenfor luftfart og medisin, og ikke minst har de drevet med utvikling av UV-C led siden 2006. https://www.nikkiso.com/
Ikke utenkelig at Nikkiso kan bli strategisk investor, eller kjøpe hele selskapet. Oppkjøpet av Aquisense kom etter at de i sin tid samarbeidet/var leverandør av UV-C led til Aquisense. Nå velger Aquisense altså å benytte CrayoLed fremfor Nikkiso, tilsynelatende pga. at CrayoLed rett og slett er et bedre produkt.
En CTO er vel heller ikke nødvendig om Crayonano havner under Nikkiso sin paraply.
Litt merkelig (eller kanskje ikke?) at avtaleparten på meldingen i dag ikke ble nevnt…
This might be another customer than AquiSense since on 4th August 2023 last year they announced a signing of commercial contract with AquiSense, after a design-in process which took 9 months (meaning design-in from approx October 2022):
Over the past nine months, AquiSense has tested and validated the CrayoLEDTM UV-C LEDs to our high-quality standards for use in water disinfection systems for point of entry and point of use products." said Oliver Lawal, CEO of AquiSense.
Compared to this last update referring to 6 months this year:
The fast design-in to market process with successful commercial market entry within only 6 months, reflects the value of a close collaboration between UV-C systems and LED component manufacturers for high commercial competitiveness.
I believe last year was a design-in and this is a design-win, meaning that CrayoLed has been chosen over other alternatives. Until now I believe Aquisense have used more than one supplier.
I cannot find any other “global leader” making products for water, air and surface as well as selling it’s products via Best Buy, Lowe’s and Walmart.
Design-In : This is the initial phase where a component or solution is considered and evaluated for inclusion in a product. During this stage, the component is tested and validated to ensure it meets the necessary specifications and requirements. It’s essentially being “designed into” the product as a potential option
- Design-Win : This occurs when the component or solution has been fully approved and selected for mass production. It means that the component has successfully passed all evaluations and has been chosen over other alternatives. [A design-win signifies that the component will be used in the final product, leading to significant sales and revenue for the supplier.
Did you request the shareholders lists from the company, which they are obliged by law to provide?
There might actually be new investors participating in the so-called “short-term” round together with existing shareholders. Right now, the rest of the shareholders dont know and the participants may be the ones also providing the long-term funding.
Since they just raised 16M NOK and strictly set the cap for running to Q3, it really sounds like a controlled bridge-financing. However, on the other hand it could also be they are faking it, and has not landed any thing, and it might be a new NTG&co round again in the fall.
Thats why the participant for the pref shares is very interesting, and they might be trying to delay disclosing it?

Jeg er en del innom LinkedIn og følger bla Camly Doan. Det jeg kan si er at jeg aldri har sett en som liker flere artikler enn henne. Ofte minst 10 stk om dagen som har med UVC og annet å gjøre.
