Why does this forum and this topic keep filled with non-relevant chit-chat, especially during times when share price comes lower? I mean the quality of the forum would be better if one writes only when you have actually something to say, such as:

  • useful information (business fundamentals, etc.)
  • commentary of share price based on some actual fundamentals (i.e. technical analysis or something else)

My proposal is that if you don’t actually have anything to say, then don’t say :smiley:

Nothing changes the sentiment like the price

This is true.

Ps. depending if you are a net-buyer of shares (like most of us) or a net seller (elderly person), then having the share price at lower levels is actually a benefit. Just my 2c.

What are your 5 cents about this «AI-enhanced webcam sensor» for accurate presence detection? I think there’s a good possibility that we can get a positive stock notice after the release of this HP Elitebook in december.

However, if you read the very same sentence that you highlithed… “to alert users when prying eyes are detected…”. That is not something you do with ultrasound.

So first opinion is that this is unlikely to be related to use of ultrasound.

I agree. But it might be combined with the webcam itself as it is to power consuming to use for precense detection but could be used with Elabs in “sensor fusion” as Elabs has staded they are not “all about ultrasound” anymore.

Dette er jo teknikk som direkte konkurer med Elabs.
Jeg stiller meg dokk tveksam da mange blokkerer webcamen på PCen. Eller helt enkelt avinstallerer driveren.

Skulle anta det ble et litt annet game med Covid og dertil økt bruk av digitale møter, som gjør at færre blokkerer kameraet nå? Da er vi dog mer på business-PCer.

As you know, here is a fresh and good example from recent HP business models where camera is using algorithms for gesture sensing, etc…

I’m still guessing the upcoming model will have the same. Until more concrete evidence occurs etc. We’ll see.
