Kid ASA - Revenues for the Fourth Quarter of 2020

Lier, 11 January 2021: Kid ASA today announces unaudited revenue figures for the fourth quarter of 2020 (previous year in brackets). For definition of like-for-like stores, please see latest quarterly report at www.investor.kid.no

In Norway, Kid Interior increased its revenues following increased footfall and basket size. Customer behaviour has been affected by COVID-19, resulting in earlier Christmas shopping and increased online sales.

In Sweden, Hemtex revenues decreased due to a material drop in footfall during the second half of December following governmental COVID-19 restrictions. The drop was partly compensated by increased online sales. Revenues in both Finland and Estonia increased during the quarter.

Group
Q4 revenues increased by +6.6% to MNOK 1097.3 (MNOK 1029.61). Like-for-like sales increased by +7.4%.

For the fiscal year 2020, Group revenues increased by +9.3% to MNOK 2994.8 (MNOK 2741.12). Like-for-like sales increased by +11.5%.

Segment Kid Interior
Q4 revenues increased by +15.3% to MNOK 694.2 (MNOK 602). Like-for-like sales increased by +13.6%. Online sales increased by +59.2%.

For the fiscal year 2020, Kid Interior revenues increased by 16.0% to MNOK 1862.8 (MNOK 1606.3). Like-for-like sales increased by +14.8%. Online sales increased by +46.9%.

Four new stores were opened, one store was relocated, and two stores were refurbished during the quarter. No stores were closed. The total number of physical stores at the end of the quarter was 147 (144). The number of shopping days in the quarter was 80 (80).

Segment Hemtex
Q4 revenues decreased by -5.7% to MSEK 384.8 (MSEK 408.2) Like-for-like sales decreased by 1.9%. Online sales increased by 46.4%.

For the fiscal year 2020, Hemtex revenues increased by 1.1% to MSEK 1102.6 (MSEK 1090.73). Like-for-like sales increased by +6.7%. Online sales increased by +55.6%.

One new store was opened, one store was relocated, and three stores were refurbished during the quarter. No stores were closed. The total number of physical stores at the end of the quarter was 131(135). The number of shopping days in the quarter was 91 (91).

The quarterly report for the fourth quarter of 2020 will be announced on 17 February 2021 at CET 08:00.

Kid ASA - Fourth Quarter 2020 Results

financial report for the fourth quarter of 2020.

· Q4 revenues increased by +6.6% to MNOK 1097.3 (MNOK 1029.6[1]). Like-for-like
sales increased by +7.4%.
· Gross margin increased by 3.0 percentage points to 63.1% (60.1%)
· Adjusted EBITDA of MNOK 369.9 (MNOK 299.1) which is an increase of MNOK 70.5
compared to the fourth quarter last year.
· The board of directors proposes an ordinary dividend of NOK 3.40 per share
payable in June 2021. The dividend is implying a 2020 pay-out ratio of 91% when
adding the November 2020 prepayment
· The board also proposes an additional and extraordinary dividend of NOK 1.00
per share
· The dividend policy has been revised and Kid is now targeting 80-100% pay
-out ratio of adjusted Net Profit with semi-annual payments

The results will be presented at 09:00 CET by CEO Anders Fjeld and CFO Eystein
Lund at Arctic Securities’ Office in Oslo (Haakon VIIs gt 5).

Consequent on the Covid-19 pandemic there will only be the possibility to attend
digitally.

Kid ASA - Disclosure of shareholding and mandatory notification of trade

16 March 2021. Gjelsten Holding AS (“Gjelsten Holding”) has today sold 6,000,000 shares in Kid ASA (the “Company” or “Kid”), representing 14.76 per cent of the share capital in the Company, at a price per share of NOK 93.00 (the “Placing”). The shares were sold through an accelerated bookbuilding process managed by ABG Sundal Collier ASA and SpareBank 1 Markets as joint bookrunners (together the “Managers”).

After the Placing, Gjelsten Holding owns 4,161,291 shares in Kid, representing 10.24 per cent of the share capital in the Company. Gjelsten Holding has entered into a customary lock-up agreement with the Managers for its remaining shares in the Company valid for 90 days.
