"During the quarter, we maintained our focus on strong operations as well as on the upcoming SPS, upgrades and maintenance programmes across our fleet. Operationally, we performed well, achieving a financial utilisation of 96% whilst also completing both the planned maintenance on Deepsea Nordkapp and the SPS on Deepsea Stavanger in Q2, the latter of which resulted in just 9 days of net off-hire time.

“Strong operations lead to positive results, and this quarter is no different. For the first time since the Odfjell Technology spin off in March 2022, the Group achieved an EBITDA of above USD 100 million. With even higher day rate contracts secured ahead of us, we are pleased to increase our dividend again for Q1 2025, and we remain confident in our capability to continue to increase distributions.”

Odfjell Drilling Ltd – Completion of Deepsea Aberdeen Special Periodic Survey

Odfjell Drilling Ltd (OSE: ODL) is pleased to announce the completion of the Deepsea Aberdeen’s Special Periodic Survey (“SPS”), with the unit returning to operations after three weeks of scheduled off-hire.

As a result, all of the Company’s own fleet rigs SPS projects are now completed, with all four SPS’s being completed on time and on budget, with an average downtime below expectations. In addition to the SPS scope, the Company materially upgraded its rigs; installing a new BOP on Deepsea Atlantic, increasing the variable deck-load capacity on Deepsea Atlantic and Deepsea Stavanger and completed significant client-specific efficiency-enhancing investments as well as other smaller upgrade projects.

Following the completion of the Company’s SPS projects, capex will reduce and distribution restrictions under the terms of its USD 390m senior secured 1st lien bond are more flexible.

The Company’s next SPS is scheduled to be the Deepsea Nordkapp in late 2028.

Odfjell Drilling Ltd (the “Company”) announces that further to the Special General Meeting held on 22 July 2025, the Company has granted share options to the Chair of the Board, Simen Lieungh.

The basis for the awards is, amongst other, the recipients’ position in the Company. Any options awarded will, subject to the participant’s continued appointment as Chair of the Board of the Company, and will vest in equal instalments over a period of 3 years after grant. Delivery of shares by exercising the options will take place from the Company’s pool of treasury shares or by issuing additional shares within the Company’s authorised share capital, or if an insufficient number of treasury shares exist, it will be settled by cash payment of an equivalent value.
