But Benin will be huge if they succeed.

Jeg tipper det er spekulasjon etter Benin-tweeten, ikke konkret kunnskap, som ligger bak kjøpene nå. Volumet er ikke stort.

I dag er det 3 måneder siden børsmeldingen om 3 måneder eksklusivitet i forhandlingene i Benin (Sèmè), her burde det komme en form for oppdatering snart.
the question is how soon! 14.04.23 is AGM. I think the news will be before AGM on 13.04.23.
you have also to remember that the result of the negotiations could be negative!

The results could be negative, there could be an extension or delay, and knowing Zenith they could also be very slow in notifying the market especially if it is not good news.

there will probably be a postponement! will it put the course to plummet?
Don’t trust what you read on FA, they mix rumour and fact in my experience, always double check. I think there will be a vote on reverse split at the general meeting, there is no guarantee it will pass.
if they decide in favor of the reverse split, will the course plummet? what do you reckon? also no information on Benin (though it’s due).

There is no rational reason for the stock price to be hugely affected by a reverse split in the short term, but I agree it’s a negative psychologically. I don’t expect is should matter much right now.
Delayed news from Benin is bad, because Zenith is often very eager to announce good news early, and wait when there is bad news. But if there was a clear decision from Benin to choose a different operator, then the Benin government should also announce it. I think Benin is still possible.

“share consolidation”, passed with 97.47% “for”. The proposal was approved, which means the board are allowed to do a reverse split.
to consider and, if thought fit, pass, with or without variation, a special resolution effecting a consolidation of the Common Shares on the basis of one (1) post-consolidation Common Share for each 10 pre-consolidation Common Shares;
