I viewed the expo, no mention of the 5PG listing (not that I am aware of). I was disappointed at first but in the end understood why. The expo was targeted at people buying goodies, the real fanboys and fangirls (called ‘the tribe’). These expos have a viewer audience of 3000-5000 people on average. This is a lot but no broad outreach. If you look at the youtube channel of skybound, they reach their broadest audience with walking death actors discussing stuff (+1.000.000 views). If they want to promote their listing, they should get Rick Grimes or Negan (IDGAF suits him best 
) and make publicity for it.
I expect a small dump on monday.

Crew Games, will be the next release under its ongoing publishing agreement with

The question is if 5th Planet Games plan (for now at least) is to be more like an indie-publisher? With titles such as “Escape Academy” and “Before your eyes” i more think of indie games than AA(A) games like based on the the walking dead.

Honestly for AAA games you need huge budgets. 5PG does not have those huge budgets. Probably will be second-tier or indie game. There is nothing wrong with that however. You have an increased chance for succes if you can use IPs like the walking dead. Fanboys buy it anyways… . I am always surprised how much these people care for it, even if these things can sometimes be described as shovelware.
I know I am 100% speculating now, but I think it is even feasable that they -at a point in time- re-boot dawn of dragons ascension. The thing here is: skybound has a lot of experience with fan merchandising and these kinds of worlds/communities. Good old Hugo was not able to do this, there was a total misfit back then. It is something that 5pg could work on together with Skybound.
If the AAA game idea is good enough investors can “give” money to the company as we have seen in for example Funcom over the years. But 5th will probably wait until they shown great succcess with other indie games and/or second-tier.
But more use of IPs like the walking dead in “smaller” games I would really like to see. It increases the probability for success.

100% correct. The advantage 5PG has now, is that they can actually choose games that have a high probability of succes, instead of doing all the development themselves. Looking forward to see new announcements. The dump today is really mild btw.
The dump is mild because of the game announcement. The question is if this game is good enough for new investors/traders to stay in the stock? I have my doubts, but the release is not too far away at least.

I beat TekBot over and over again ;-). Great news, the problem of good old Hugo was reaching a large enough audience to generate money. MS Game pass (Escape academy) and Netflix (before your eyes) are mayor platforms to attract an audience.
