scheduled to be completed in 2024.

The floating production platform offshore Norway is connected to subsea
installations at several nearby gas and condensate fields. The modifications
will enable increased production from the Smørbukk reservoir.

The award follows completion of the front-end engineering and design (FEED)
work, and the scope will include installation of systems to accommodate
production with both high and low pressure, replacement of reinjection
compressors as well as other modifications.

“We are excited to perform this modification project for Equinor, focusing on
responsible management of resources by utilizing existing installations to
enable increased production. We have a strong track-record from successful
deliveries of several similar projects previously,” said Linda Litlekalsøy Aase,
executive vice president, electrification, maintenance and modifications at Aker
Solutions. “In projects like this, it is important to perform the offshore
installation work safely and with a minimum of interruption of the ongoing
production on other parts of the platform. Hence, we have developed special
expertise and models to execute such contracts.”
The work is expected to require around 415 man-years for Aker
Solutions. Including ripple effects to personnel working with suppliers and in
other sectors, it is estimated that the project will involve more than 1,600
jobs. The prefabrication for new systems to be installed at Åsgard B will
involve 45 man-years at Aker Solutions’ yard in Egersund. For Aker Solutions’
office in Trondheim, the engineering, procurement and project management will
engage around 240 man-years, primarily for local employees. Aker Solutions’ work
offshore to install the new systems will involve around 130 man-years.

Åsgard B is a semisubmersible gas and condensate processing platform which is
part of the Åsgard field, one of the largest developments on the Norwegian
continental shelf. It is located in the Haltenbanken area in the Norwegian Sea,
around 200 kilometres off mid-Norway. The Åsgard field consists of the Midgard,
Smørbukk and Smørbukk South deposits. In addition, the Mikkel, Trestakk and
Morvin fields are tied back to the Åsgard infrastructure.

The contract will be booked as order intake in the first quarter of 2021 in the
Electrification, Maintenance and Modifications segment.

Ost which was delivered by Kvaerner in 2013. The ruling entitles Aker Solutions
to receive a recoverable cash amount of approximately EUR 67 million, of which
approximately EUR 23 million relates to interest. This amount and the financial
effects thereof will be recognized in Aker Solutions’ accounts when final
payment has been received, expected to take place in the near term.

The recoverable cash amount will cover the receivable in the balance sheet, and
in addition Aker Solutions will receive approximately EUR 23 million of interest
income. The arbitration related to the legacy project Nordsee Ost was filed by
Kvaerner in 2012. The arbitration proceedings were initiated regarding
compensation for various changes to the work scope.

The scope includes reception, dismantling and recycling of three offshore
installations from the Heimdal and Veslefrikk fields. The total weight of these
installations is around 68,000 metric tons, and the objective is to
recycle about 98 percent of all the materials. Aker Solutions has extensive
decommissioning experience and specializes in environmentally safe dismantling
and recycling of offshore installations. This award confirms the company’s
strong offering related to recycling projects.

“Decommissioning is a growing market, and in tonnage, this will be our largest
decommissioning project since we recycled the Frigg oil and gas platforms about
15 years ago,” said Sturla Magnus, executive vice president and head of Aker
Solutions’ topside and facilities business. “We are pleased with this new award
which demonstrates that our strong focus on safe operations and capability to
deliver a high degree of recycling is being recognized in the market.”

Heimdal is an Equinor-operated gas and condensate field in the Northern part of
the North Sea, which has been in operation since 1985. The plan is to
decommission the field, including removing, dismantling and recycling the main
platform topsides and jacket. Heerema will be the main contractor for the
decommissioning offshore, with Aker Solutions as the subcontractor for the
recycling work when the installations arrive to shore. Aker Solutions’ scope
includes the topsides, jacket and bridge of the Heimdal riser platform for which
Equinor is the technical service provider on behalf of the operator Gassco.
Assignment of the riser platform part of the scope is subject to Heerema being
awarded the riser platform contract after expiry of a mandatory standstill
period required prior to contract award.

Veslefrikk is an Equinor-operated oil field in the Northern parts of the North
Sea which has been in operation since 1989. On the Veslefrikk field, Aker
Solutions’ scope is to dismantle and recycle the wellhead platform Veslefrikk A
as well as a subsea pre-drilling template.

The Heimdal and Veslefrikk platforms will be recycled at Aker Solutions’
decommissioning facilities at Eldøyane in Stord, Norway. Early-phase engineering
will begin in 2022 and the structures are currently anticipated to arrive at
Stord between 2024 and 2026, with project completion in 2027. At peak, the
project is expected to involve around 100 employees in Aker Solutions.

The award will be booked as order intake when the contract is finally signed
later this year, in the Renewables and Field Development segment.

The duo has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and established a team
with key people from both organizations. The combination of Aker Solutions and
Doosan Babcock provides a full engineering, procurement, construction and
installation (EPCI) solution for the UK’s progressive energy transition agenda.
The two companies have already identified some key prospects which they are
positioning for.

vertical subsea trees, wellheads, control systems, three six-slot templates with
integrated manifolds, and associated services. Work starts immediately and will
involve Aker Solutions’ facilities in Brazil, Malaysia, Norway and the UK. Final
deliveries are scheduled for 2024.

In October 2020, Aker Solutions was awarded a

by ConocoPhillips to provide the subsea production system for the Tommeliten
Alpha development.

Eldfisk is an oilfield discovered in 1970 located south of the Ekofisk field in
the Norwegian North Sea. It is the second largest of three producing fields in
the Greater Ekofisk Area, and one of the largest on the Norwegian continental
shelf. The water depth is 70 meters with the reservoir located at depths of
about 2,500-3,000 meters below the seafloor.

The award will be booked as order intake in the first quarter of 2021 in the
Subsea segment.

The project development is subject to a final investment decision by the license
partners and regulatory approval by Norwegian authorities.

Bakteppet i aksjen nå er at Q4 ble en nedtur og at Q1 ikke ser ut til å bli bra, med tanke på at CEO gikk ut tidlig i Q1 og varslet om at man ikke vil få utbytte for 2021 året. Samtidig har covid tatt seg opp sterkt i Norge, som stopper Akso fra å kunne jobbe med utenlandske arbeidere som de gjorde før. Ser ikke bra ut for selskapet på kort sikt, så kursen tynges daglig fram til framtiden ser lysere ut. Aker Solutions Wins FEED Contract for e-Fuel Plant in Norway

The FEED work starts immediately and is planned to be completed in the third
quarter of 2021. It will involve about 50 employees from Aker Solutions,
primarily at the company’s headquarters in Fornebu, Norway. Based on the FEED
results, NBC aims to sanction start of detailed engineering, procurement,
construction and installation (EPCI) within the second half of 2021.

“Aker Solutions has been working with NBC on this concept for more than two
years. The FEED contract brings the project a big step forward towards
realization. The project also supports our strategy to grow the company’s
business related to renewables and low-carbon oil and gas projects. Based on
delivery of solid front-end engineering, we aim to be in a good position for
future work,” said Kenneth Simonsen, interim executive vice president and head
of the renewables business in Aker Solutions.

Aker Solutions is already a leading supplier to oil and gas companies globally
and will continue to maintain this market position. In parallel, the company
will rapidly grow activities for sustainable energy production. The ambition is
to generate one-third of its revenue from renewable energy projects and low
-carbon solutions by 2025, and two-thirds by 2030.

e-Fuels production use electrical power in the process. The blue crude process
will use renewable electricity, water and CO2 as feedstocks. The process starts
when water vapor is broken down into hydrogen and oxygen. The produced crude
will be carbon neutral and offer 100 percent reduction in CO2 emissions compared
to fossil fuels. After the refining steps, the plant can deliver products such
as kerosene (jet fuel), diesel, wax and naphtha. The plant NBC plans to build at
Herøya Industrial Park will have a significant capacity and thus be a key
contributor to the energy transition.

Aker Solutions’ FEED work will be performed in close cooperation with NBC and
with support from two technology providers; ARVOS Group for the syngas system
and Emerging Fuels Technology for the Fischer-Tropsch system related to
production of the e-Fuel. Multiconsult will contribute with front-end design
related to civil construction and buildings.
