Thinfilm Promotes Christian Delay to Chief Commercial Officer

Thin Film Electronics ASA (“Thinfilm”) today announced a change to its management team.

Christian Delay has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Mr. Delay, who joined Thinfilm in May of 2016, was most recently EVP Software overseeing development of the CNECT Cloud Platform as well as IT strategy and solutions. In this expanded role, Mr. Delay will continue overseeing Software as well as Sales, Business Development, and Marketing. Thinfilm Begins Complete Processing of EAS Tags on its Roll-to-Roll Manufacturing Line

Thin Film Electronics ASA (“Thinfilm”) today announced that it has started fully processing EAS (electronic article surveillance) anti-theft tags on its roll-to-roll manufacturing line at the Company’s Junction Avenue facility in San Jose, California. All EAS-related equipment has been installed and is fully operational, and each material layer required in the processing of EAS tags is being applied using roll-based technology.

Thinfilm has also submitted the protocol associated with its PDPS (printed dopant polysilicon) wireless tags for standardization.

El Jimador sponsored the Mexican National Soccer team’s 2018 US tour. 

The six-figure unit, in-market deployment - consisting of a combination of “smart” bottles and “connected” coasters - is a key component of el Jimador’s omni-channel “Soccer Moments” campaign. It is believed to be the industry’s largest NFC-related activation ever for a tequila brand.
