Regulatory update
In 2020, Finland’s parliament approved the
government’s proposal of a legislative
change that includes a temporary 10% p.a.
interest cap on new loans, down from
previously 20%, as well as a ban on direct
marketing to consumers. These restrictions
were in effect until end of September 2021.
The government has communicated that a
potential permanent regulation is being
investigated without giving any further
details on timing, type or level of potential
limitations.

Each option is issued with Komplett Bank ASA as issuer and provides the holder with a right to subscribe one share. The options are subject to a five years exercise period. Komplett Bank ASA: sells portfolio of non-performing loans in Norway to Intrum Capital

Komplett Bank (the “Bank”) has entered into an agreement with Intrum Capital AS to sell the remaining portfolio of Norwegian non-performing consumer loans, credit card loans and point of sales financing loans for a total gross carrying amount of approx. NOK 0.7 billion. The transaction is foreseen to be completed in Q2 2022. It is estimated to have a slightly positive earnings impact, and hence confirming the Bank’s provisioning levels. Following this transaction, the Bank will have disposed of almost its entire stock of non-performing loans, and the remainder of these will then constitute less than 3% of the Bank’s loans.
