I reduced by 75% total on friday, keeping only a small position.

It’s not substantial yet, but it’s yet another “maybe” for Zenith!
I’m still concerned that the US is more mature, with less risk-based discount than the other places Zenith has plans, so this is less likely to be a bargain deal. Note that “issuing equity” is mentioned in the notification.
I still hold 25% of my Zenith position, so I’m not cheering for a loss here.
Don’t you think this is a message of marginal importance? 7 wells in Oklahoma (may be) is not a big deal or what?
If the message was: “we bought seventy wells and they were cheap” that would be super big. The message was an “agreement” to “develop”, maybe with “issue of equity”, from a “potential vendor”, “approximately 70”. And the fact that they’re talking about a large number of wells with a very low production target (first step is 75 Bpd) means they are marginal wells.
It’s obviously good news, and sooner than I expected, but there’s a lot of uncertainty here still.

I try to describe what I see, and share my decisions, but I have no special skill or knowledge in this. I lost money on Zenith.
I was strongly considering getting rid of the rest of my position on friday, “sell the news”, but in the end even though I think the news so far is not super big, I do think that there is a better chance of big positive news over big negative news in the short term. So I will hold my 25% a little bit longer.
New notification, Zenith to initiate arbitration against the Republic of Tunisia. Also, more general update on Tunisia assets. It’s not great, with Ezzaouia and Sidi el kamini under dispute, and El Bibane closed for maintenance, the only production is now Robbana at 20-25 bopd.
If you want to visualize 20-25 barrels per day, turn on your kitchen sink, the flow equals more than 100 barrels a day, so divide by 5.

edit: you need to be expecting some seriously good news from Benin, Yemen, or USA for Zenith to make sense at the current market cap
Is this one a good or bad news? how will the market react?
I read it as very negative, but the market does not seem to agree. 
I think a lot of the price currently is people thinking of the expansion plans as a lottery ticket (small chance, high reward), so any news regarding expansion (like Congo) gets a huge reaction while news on fundamentals or existing business (Italy updates, news from Tunisia) gets only a small reaction.
but why so negative? the production in Tunisia was marginal! 50 mln is much better than this marginal number of barrels.
They are claiming $48 million, I think their chance of getting anything is small. How many $ have they got from previous cases? Look at NewsWeb for example. Do you think they will ever get that money?
When they go to court, that means they have given up on solving it without the court, and it’s a last effort. Zenith is now Italy, 25 BOPD in Tunis, and a series of “maybe?”.

What the heck is this? What does it mean?
It’s an amendment to the bond prospectus for Zenith, looks like they’re expanding to raise more debt (bonds).
It doesn’t really change the outview for Zenith, they’ve always lost money and they have several expansion plans that would require raising debt to fund. So this could mean that they are preparing to close one of the planned deals, or it could just mean that they need more cash to burn while they wait.
I’ve sold the rest of my position btw, no more Zenith for me.
