You cannot compare both. Conan is an online mmorpg, which is a timesink. You play hours and hours on this game. Before your eyes however is a game played only once. Once finished you will not replay it very often.

Therefore the activity on this game is low. But this does not mean it has not been sold very often.

Look at charts where it estimated that somewhere in between 200.000 and 500.000 people own the game on steam alone (https://steamdb.info/app/1082430/charts/).

Conan on the other hand is owned by 10 times more people but comparatively (somewhere around 3500 times) played way more by its owners due to it being an online mmorpg, attracting a lot of game-addicted manchildren :wink: .

50k? With 462 reviews i would guesstimate that it has sold somewhere between 8k and 20k on steam.

Basically this is data we do not have. These estimates come from sites that try to guestimate the copies sold based on other metrics. I think 20.000 is a fair guestimate of the copies sold, taking into account the work that is still put into the game (8000 copies would imply that further development would be cancelled by the publisher).

I consider the game to be launched, but still in sort of a development phase as there are important updates made. Additional sales can be expected with all of the upcoming expansions.

With 87% positive reviews I think the numbers are closer to 20k than 8k but I’m more interested in why you think it could have sold 50k .

This is indeed a decent guesstimate. As stated earlier it is very difficult to guess this, especially with this kind of niche games.

Er kritisk at Skybound har kapitalbehov og henter pengene fra 5th Planet blant annet, som i realiteten ikke kan si nei. :confused: Er motsatt vei av dit man ønsker at cashflow skal gå.

They could have asked for more. I think this is done with regards to Skybound’s attempt to raise capital.

Have you checked 5th Planet Games earnings? Could they have asked for more?
How long will it take to give 5th Planet Games the same investment capital and what chances will they lose out on doing now because that capital gets locked up in Skybound, and will there be more problems in Skybound? The let down is mainly that I was hoping Skybound would buy out 5th Planet Games later this year. That now seems like a 0 chance event.

Check the available cash in last Q3 report (41.000.000 DKK), so they are basically sitting on a pile of cash that is doing not that much. BTW, the majority of that cash was provided by Skybound. In the next months the earnings will increase gradually.

I was also hoping on a buyout, but this will indeed not take place in the near future. But you never know what they will do.

Not surprising, it has been received favourably.

Currently it is 18th on the most downloaded VR games of Playstation (out of 63 games) and 39th sales wise, which is pretty good for a recently launched game that is not AAA.

So we will basically have two launches in may:

Glitch busters: 23th of may
Wrestle quest: somewhere in may

Other triggers:
Annual report: 30th of march

I do expect a new investment announcement in this month/april, considering the earlier pace of investing in games.
