Nominated for contract with Norwegian Defence Estates Agency

Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been awarded a contract by Norwegian Defence Estates Agency for the construction of offices and vehicle halls at Ørland in Trøndelag. The contract, which is a turnkey project, is valued at approximately NOK 155 million excluding VAT.

The project includes the construction of 2,800 m² GFA offices and 3,800 m² GFA vehicle halls at Ørland Air Station. Ørland is Norway’s fighter jet base and is central to the Armed Forces’ operational activities.

Innstilt til kontrakt med Forsvarsbygg

Onshore disposal services contract for AF Gruppen

AF Gruppen has today received a notification of award for a contract from Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) for the engineering, receipt, dismantling and recycling of the Oseberg Øst platform, operated by Equinor Energy AS, in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The weight of the Topside & Jacket structures is close to 18,000 metric tons with an option to include conductors with an estimated weight of 3,000 metric tons. The structures will be received between 2027 – 2033 at AF Environmental Base Vats.

Nytt gjenvinningsoppdrag for AF Gruppen

AF Gruppen har i dag blitt varslet om tildeling av en kontrakt fra Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC). Kontrakten gjelder prosjektering, mottak, demontering og gjenvinning av Oseberg Øst-plattformen, operert av Equinor Energy AS, fra norsk sektor av Nordsjøen. Vekten på overbygning og understell er nær 18 000 tonn med en opsjon for mottak og gjenvinning av omtrent 3 000 tonn stigerør. Strukturene vil ankomme AF Miljøbase Vats mellom 2027 og 2033.

Building 62 apartments in Solna

AF Bygg Öst, a company within AF Gruppen, has been commissioned to build 62 apartments in Solna, just north of Stockholm, on behalf of Stena Bygg AB. The contract will be carried out as a turnkey contract and has a value of SEK 211 million excluding VAT.

The project, named Brf Sjöviken, involves the construction of 62 apartments distributed across two buildings. The contract also includes the construction of an underground garage with three levels, totalling 146 parking spaces. The project has high climate goals and will be certified according to Svanen version 3 and achieve energy class B.

Bygger 62 leiligheter i Solna

Rehabilitating commercial building in Bergen city center

LAB Entreprenør AS, a company within AF Gruppen, has signed a contract with Marken 37 AS (EGD Property AS) for the rehabilitation of a commercial building in Bergen city center. The contract is a turnkey project valued at NOK 131 million excluding VAT.

The contract includes the interior rehabilitation of approximately 2,950 square meters of gross floor area, demolition, and the establishment of a new glass atrium, as well as some outdoor work. The building’s office spaces will be upgraded to modern, high-quality facilities, tailored to a large tenant. A restaurant with a sun-facing outdoor seating area is planned on the ground floor. The venerable building from 1885 is located very centrally in Marken in Bergen city center, opposite Bergen train station and the public transport terminal.

Rehabiliterer næringsbygg i Bergen sentrum

Strøm Gundersen Vestfold, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been selected by Kaldnes Utvikling AS as the contractor for the construction of a new office building in Horten. The contract will be executed as a collaborative contract and has a value of approximately NOK 108 million excluding VAT.

The company aims to produce 5 million tons of green steel annually from the facilities in Boden, Sweden, by 2030.

Building retirement home in Eskilstuna

HMB, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been commissioned to build care homes in Eskilstuna on behalf of Eskilstuna Kommunfastigheter AB. The project is being carried out as a turnkey contract and has a contract value of SEK 138 million excluding VAT.

Selected to build Stovner School

Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been selected by Oslobygg KF for the construction of Stovner school in Oslo. The turnkey contract is valued at NOK 300 million excluding VAT.

The project includes an extension to the existing primary school, as well as the rehabilitation of parts of the current school building. The extension covers approximately 5,700 m2 GFA, while the rehabilitation concerns about 1,000 m2 GFA. After the expansion, Stovner School will be able to accommodate around 550 students and 100 staff members. The project also includes a major upgrade of the outdoor facilities.

Building more European road in Innlandet

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement published on January 31, 2020, when Nye Veier selected AF Gruppen for the conceptualization phase of regulation, design, and construction of the new E6 Roterud-Storhove. Nye Veier has now decided that AF Gruppen will carry out the detailed design and construction of this project, subject to the completion of the intention announcement according to public procurement regulations.

The project entails a 23 km new four-lane highway from Roterud in Gjøvik to Storhove near Lillehammer. AF Gruppen, along with its consultant Norconsult, has been closely collaborating with Nye Veier since early 2020 in developing and regulating this road. The project has placed a strong focus on how environmental considerations can be combined with the realization of a safe road, especially when crossing the Lågen delta.
