Contract for the foundation of a new city bridge in Drammen

Fundamentering AS (FAS), a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has signed a contract with PNC Norge AS for the foundation work on the new city bridge in Drammen. The client is Drammen municipality. The contract has a value of NOK 112 million, excl. VAT.

The project includes sheet piling, framing of steel piles and drilling of steel core piles, and the new bridge will replace the current bridge between Bragernes torg and Strømsø torg.

Start-up is planned in August 2022 with completion of the entire project in the autumn of 2025. The work will be carried out in several stages from barges and from land.

Renovation of commercial building in Bergen

AF Gruppen company LAB Entreprenør has signed a contract with Baneveien 16 for the renovation of the building at 16 Baneveien in the city of Bergen. The contract has a value of approximately NOK 190 million, excluding VAT.

Baneveien 16 is a company owned 50/50 by EGD Property AS and LAB Eiendom. The building itself is located in the heart of Bergen’s city centre, with Sparebanken Vest and the City of Bergen’s new performing arts centre as its immediate neighbours, while the Dokken development and the Nøstet neighbourhood are also on the doorstep. The property will be fully renovated into a commercial building with an additional residential storey on the top floor. The largest tenant in the new development will be the Wikborg Rein law practice. There are plans for restaurant operations on the first and second floors.

The contract includes a new façade attached to the exterior of the existing building fabric to ensure that the building is as energy efficient as possible. The building will be BREEAM certified as Very Good.

“LAB Eiendom and EGD Property have in cooperation with LAB Entreprenør developed an environmentally sound project that will have a positive impact on the city as a whole, and it will be a superb and attractive building for tenants,” says Tormod Solberg, EVP Building at AF Gruppen.

Work is scheduled to start in Q2 2022 with planned completion in Q1 2024.

AF Gruppen ASA initiates share buyback program

AF Gruppen ASA (the “Company”) has decided to initiate a share buyback program. The buyback program will be conducted in accordance with the authorization provided by the annual general meeting to the board of directors on May 13 2022.

The share buyback program will be for a maximum of 300,000 shares and will comprise acquisitions of own shares for an aggregate amount of up to NOK 50,000,000. The program will commence on June 7 and will end no later than June 17, 2022. Buyback transactions will be executed according to the market price on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The shares purchased under this program will be used in connection with the Company’s employee share programs.

Betonmast to build car facility in Gardermoen

AF Gruppen subsidiary Betonmast has signed a contract with Møller Eiendom and Stokke Industri for the construction of a car facility adjacent to Oslo Airport City in Gardermoen. The contract is a turnkey contract with a value of approximately NOK 220 million, excluding VAT.

The project includes the construction of a new car dealership facility for Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi and ŠKODA across a total area of 12,000 m2. The plans for this dealership facility will see it built to meet the requirements of Energy Class A, and it will be certified in accordance with the EU’s taxonomy for sustainable buildings and in the BREEAM Very Good class. Construction of the building will be delivered through the use of three load bearing structures.

Options issued

The Board of Directors in AF Gruppen ASA has issued 151,669 new share options to 142 employees in 2022, in accordance with the Power of Attorney given by the General Meeting on May 15, 2020. The options may be exercised in 2023. The strike price for the options will be NOK 170.82 adjusted for dividends that exceeds 50 percent of earnings per share from June 2022 until exercising in 2023.

AF Gruppen er av Helse Sør-ØST RHF innstilt som entreprenør for utførelse av entreprise Innvendige arbeider Sengebygg. Arbeidet utføres som en hovedentreprise. Avtalen har en verdi på 158 MNOK ekskl. mva.
