The board of directors of Carasent ASA (“Carasent” or “the Company”) has today appointed Daniel Öhman as the Company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He will succeed Dennis Höjer who has been CEO since December 2020. Öhman will start no later than 2 January 2023.

Daniel Öhman is at present CEO of GHP Speciality Care, a role he has held since 2013. During Öhman’s leadership, GHP Specialty Care’s valuation increased from 370 MSEK to 2 450 MSEK, turnover doubled, and EBITDA increased from 50 MSEK to 200 MSEK. Öhman was also instrumental in the development of GHP Solutions, a business area within which healthcare is sold as a subscription service and continuously refined using a uniquely comprehensive data layer.

Öhman has been with GHP Speciality Care in various positions since 2006, and has managed the company during heavy expansion, both financially and geographically. He has experience from growing business in the UK, Czech Republic, the Middle East, Denmark and Norway.

The Board extends its gratitude to Dennis Höjer, who will continue as acting CEO until Daniel Öhman assumes the position.
