Improved contract terms for (assumingly both PC-laptop and mobile contracts) moving the timing of invoicing for fixed amount contracts from production/sales to the actual time of signing the contract. We will see the positive effects on this on working capital and cash flow starting Q4-2024.
Xiaomi:
We have more product launches with them this year than last year, nothing wrong, no complaints, we had 2 launches with them as late as this November.
When do you expect to sign product contracts with new PC manufacturers?
We cannot answer specifically on this, you will have to wait until we make the announcements.
We expect new customers to start with HPD + seamless (jumping the Lenovo first step of HPD only).
New products:
Q: Do you have more products ready for launch from the smart sensor platform?
A: Yes, we do. We are working very closely with our strategic customers (plural) creating new virtual sensors to meet their use cases, we cannot inform about these here as we cannot steal the thunder from the customers, they will announce them as they go to the market like Lenovo did with the Tap Sensor at the Berlin trade show.
On ownership to applications:
We own the rights to the tap sensor and can sell this to others than Lenovo. There is no exclusivity involved.
Customers do ask for exclusivity, they ask us to develop unique applications driven out of our smart sensor platform. We have not yet signed any exclusivity deals.
We expect that there will continue to be negotiations about exclusivity.
Exclusivity will imply significantly higher pricing. “We are fortunate in that position”
(phone customers: no new products on the horizon)
