“We have made solid progress since our previous Capital Markets Day in 2023,
ending 2025 by delivering on all our financial targets. We have strengthened the
foundations of our business and positioned Gjensidige for continued strong
deliveries,” says CEO Geir Holmgren.
“Gjensidige is positioned for the future with four clear priorities: customer
empathy, resilience, profitable growth and sustainability. These priorities
guide how we serve customers, strengthen our organisation, manage capital and
create long-term value. The Group’s strong platform enables us to continue
advancing - growing our top line, improving margins, and maintaining high
customer loyalty to support competitive shareholder returns. With this
foundation and a clear path forward, I am confident in our ability to meet the
financial targets and achieve the next level for Gjensidige,” says Holmgren.
Gjensidige has raised the bar further, with an ambitious set of annual Group
financial targets towards 2028:
· Combined ratio, 2027 & 2028: <81 per cent
· Cost ratio, 2027 & 2028: ~12 per cent
· Return on equity, 2027 & 2028: >28 per cent
· Solvency ratio 2027 & 2028: 140 - 190 per cent
· Insurance service result, general insurance, 2028: NOK >10bn
The financial targets for 2026 and Gjensidige’s attractive dividend policy
remain unchanged.
