In November 2023, the Company’s 11 drilling rigs achieved an average operating day rate of approximately USD 26,800 and rig utilization was 77%.

As of December 7, 2023, approximately 88% of available rig days in December are contracted at an average operating day rate of approximately USD 26,500. The contracted backlog beyond December is approximately USD 13.9 million with an average daily operating rate of approximately USD 26,500.

Currently 9 of 11 rigs are contracted and working. One rig will begin mobilizing under a new contract in mid-December. We will keep the remaining idle rig warm stacked and expect activity to pick up in early 2024.

Cash distribution:

The Board of Directors approved today a monthly cash distribution of USD 1.7 million or USD $0.04 per share for December 2023. The distribution will be made from the Company’s Contributed Surplus account which consists of previously paid in share premium transferred from the Company’s Share Premium account.

Declared currency: US$. Payment to shares registered with Euronext VPS will be distributed in NOK

In January 2024, the Company’s 11 drilling rigs achieved an average operating day rate of approximately USD 26,300 and rig utilization was 90%.

As of February 8, 2024, approximately 88% of available rig days in February are contracted at an average operating day rate of approximately USD 26,400. The contracted backlog beyond February is approximately USD 19.0 million with an average daily operating rate of approximately USD 26,500.

Currently 10 of 11 rigs are contracted and working. We anticpate one rig currently working will be relased in March 2024 as a result of operator merger and consolidation and have started actively marketing this rig. We will keep idle rigs warm and expect activity to pick up later in 2024.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Reported Revenues of MUSD 24.0, down 10% from the previous quarter
• Adjusted EBITDA(1) of MUSD 5.4 down 22% from the previous quarter
• Fleet utilization was 82.3% compared to 77.3% in the previous quarter
• Average base dayrate of $26,900, down 11% from the previous quarter
• Current revenue backlog of MUSD 27.6 as of February 22, 2024

Marty L. Jimmerson, Chief Executive Officer of NorAm Drilling AS commented:
"During the fourth quarter, the drilling industry experienced declines in WTI, Natural Gas and active rig counts in both the US and Permian. Despite these headwinds we reactivated two rigs during the quarter and finished with only one stacked rig. The market continues to be impacted by reduced drilling demand after substantial consolidation activity among private and public operators in addition to disciplined production plans demonstrated by most E&Ps.

With our industry low-cost base and zero debt, we continue to return capital to shareholders despite market headwinds and this demonstrates the strength of our unique model. We paid MUSD 5.3 or NOK 1.32 per share in monthly dividends in the quarter and have declared two additional dividends after quarter end. Our rigs are among the very top performers measured in feet drilled per day in the US shale market, and NorAm should be well positioned for getting the idle rigs back to work in a market recovery."
