Kanskje en IPO i US om et par år og notering på NASDAQ?
Biotech i US blir jo priset langt høyere enn her på bjerget.

Investorene vil nok få øynene opp for PHO. Heldige er vi som allerede har fått øynene opp og fått vår plass i solen. Utover høsten 2018 og inn i 2019 vil det nok bli verre og verre å få tak i PHo aksjer, spesielt dersom man skal ha noe større volum. For jeg føler meg mer og mer sikker på at vi går noen heftig år i møte. Vi fikk en teaser ifm Q2 presentasjonen. Det vi ante konturene av der vil bli bekreftet på Q3 og Q4 presentasjonen, og da tenker jeg det tar fullstendig fyr i teltet.
I dag fikk vi melding om at vi får ny CEO fra 1 NOV. Og her kommer det altså en person fra en 40 milliarders bedrift til en knøttliten mygg, verdt vel 1 milliard. Så kan man jo undre seg over hva denne personen har sett som resten av markedet synes å slite med å se. Trøkket i USA blir neppe mindre med denne personen i førersetet.

Når man ser på bakgrunnen til Dan er det jo lett å skjønne at han slikker seg om munnen ved sjansen til å overta en organisasjon som kommer med ferdige fase 3 studier og en uttalt strategi om å være en kommersiell salgsorganisasjon.
Flott at han nå får sjansen til å være den som kommer med den oppdaterte guidingen for selskapet på et tidspunkt han selv velger.
Photocure har gjort ekstremt mye rett!

“The second barrier discussed is the fact that the gold standard of tumor detection, which is cystoscopy, is considerably flawed. Data from several publications show that by using standard white light cystoscopy, the residual disease rate at prior TURBT sites range from 27%-62%, and the rate of missed diagnosis of invasive bladder cancer (pathological stage T2) can reach up to 10% 5, as shown in figure 3.
Because of this high residual rate, the concept of fluorescence cystoscopy (Cysview) has been introduced. Cysview is an optical imaging agent used in the cystoscopic detection of bladder carcinoma, including CIS. It is used with the KARL STORZ D-Light C Photodynamic Diagnostic (PDD) system enabling the performance of blue light cystoscopy, utilized as an adjunct to the white light cystoscopy. Pivotal studies have shown that blue light cystoscopy (Cysview) had diagnosed a tumor in 16.4% of patients, and 32% were diagnosed with CIS, only when Cysview was added. 6,7 Another added benefit of Cysview is the significant increase in time to recurrence that it brings, from 9.4 months in standard white light cystoscopy to 16.4 months in Cysview, p=0.04.8 Furthermore, a meta-analysis including five studies with 1301 patients demonstrated that it also causes a decrease in the rate of progression from 10.7% in white light cystoscopy to 6.8% in Cysview. Lastly, it increases the time to progression. 9,10”

Next, Dr. Daneshmand discussed the blue light cystoscopy technique. This technique has been extensively studied to investigate the improvement in the detection of bladder tumors vs. white light cystoscopy. This modality is used with an optical imaging agent (Cysview or Hexvis). In the US, Cysview is used with the Karl STORZ D- light C photodynamic diagnosis (PDD). There have been five multicenter phase-three trials in the US, Canada, and Europe assessing its impact. Over 1800 patients with known/suspected bladder cancer are enrolled in these trials. In a meta-analysis of 9 studies, including over 2000 patients investigating the effect of blue light cystoscopy, it was shown that at least one additional Ta/T1 tumor was found in 24.5% of patients, p<0.001. Furthermore, 26.7% of the CIS patients were diagnosed with blue light cystoscopy only, p<0.001.2 This meta-analysis also demonstrated that the rate of recurrence was reduced by 10.9%, p<0.006 2 and the time to recurrence was prolonged from 9.4 months to 16.4 months, p=0.04 3 In another meta-analysis the rate of progression was reduced from 10.7% to 6.8%.4 This meta-analysis concluded with the recommendation to use blue light cystoscopy at first resection to allow more patients at risk of progression to be treated adequately and promptly.
According to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines blue light cystoscopy may be helpful in identifying lesions not visible using white light cystoscopy. According to the American Urologic Association (AUA) guidelines, blue light cystoscopy should be offered to patients with NMIBC at the time of TURBT, if available, to increase the detection and decrease recurrence. NBI may be considered in patients with NMIBC to increase detection and decrease recurrence.
A phase three prospective controlled comparative multi-center study in NMIBC patients included 17 centers in the US and compared surveillance with blue light flexible cystoscopy to TURBT when suspicion of recurrence arises with rigid blue light cystoscopy. A total of 21.5% and 34.6% of patients had tumors and CIS, respectively, detected only using flexible blue light cystoscopy. The rate of false positive lesions seen only with blue light cystoscopy was 8.6%, while a similar rate was demonstrated for white light cystoscopy only.5
Another prospective multicenter study assessed patient-reported outcomes of blue light flexible cystoscopy in the surveillance of bladder cancer patients.6 This study showed that 90% of the patients found it worthwhile to undergo blue light cystoscopy and they would do it again and would recommend it to others.
Dr. Daneshmand concluded his talk, reiteration the recommendation of the guidelines to use blue light cystoscopy at initial TURBT in patients with NMIBC suspicion. It is also recommended to use it for the assessment of suspected tumor recurrence in patients not previously assessed using blue light cystoscopy, for assessment of patients with positive urine cytology but negative white light cystoscopy, in high risk patients, more than six weeks after the last instillation of BCG induction, and in patients with early re-TURBT (4-6 weeks after first resection). Lastly, the future role of blue light cystoscopy lies in the outpatient setting.

Risikoen her er jo at teknologifremoverlente kols kan finne på å gå i helt andre retninger enn Photocure sine produkter.
Jeg tror at den uttalelsen var ment for hvitt lys teknologien og at det videre ble tatt opp forbedringen som ble fordelaktig med blålys.
Og så er det vel alltid en liten risiko at noen kan gå andre veier, men ikke uten store studier og refusjoner som tar år å implementere så bare de fortsetter å bygge salgsorganisasjonen i US og flexiscopene finner sine faste plasser rundt i Trump-landet så skal det bli vanskelig å holde photocure sin andel av cystoskopier under 20%

On the other hand, in patients who had negative cytology and no lesions with WLC (150 total), BLC was able to detect 35 new malignant lesions (sensitivity 83%).”

Man har jo ett stort survaillence marked i europa oxo der de nye flexiscopene nesten burde kunne selge seg selv etter all denne dokumentasjonen.
- Pasientene får den desidert beste behandlingen/diagnosen
- Sykehusene sparer penger på liggedøgn
- Klarer/vil ikke IBSEN virkelig satse og selge masse flexiscope i europa skulle man tor det var nærmest som kontraktsbrudd å regne.
- som bevisst pasient ville jeg personlig krevet denne behandlingen, selv om jeg kanskje måtte betale for Cysveiw selv, men det fordrer jo at sykehuset har karl Storz flexiscopet

Ha kursen blir i dag, mandag eller neste fredag er ikke så veldig interessant, dersom man da ikke driver med trading. Jeg tror at vi vil få mye glede av PHO de kommende to tre årene. Innen den tid begynner det å tilfalle aksjonærene fete utbytter og kursen kommer til å ligge langt over dagens nivå.

Interessen rundt PHO preges tydeligvis av at man er midt mellom to kvartalpresentasjoner og nyhetene ikke har vært for mange i det siste. Dog har selskapet varslet markedet om at en ny, meget habil CEO er ansatt med virkning fra 1 nov. Basert på hans CV og hva han har oppnådd i tidligere stillinger er det ikke noe som tyder på at han ikke også vil vise seg som en god man for PHO i den fasen selskapet nå befinner seg.
For alt tyder på at PHO nå er midt i et meget hyggelig gjennombrudd i det amerikanske markedet. Positivt fokus hver gang selskapet og Cysview/BLCC omtales i fagblader, konferanser eller på diverse nettsider. Interessen er tydeligvis økende hos urologer, pasientene og på sykehus/klinikker.
Det vi fikk av Bellete på Q2 presentasjonen var en teaser for hva jeg tror kommer på Q3 og Q4 presentasjonen henholdsvis 8 nov 18 og i feb 2019.
Hva angåre kursutviklingen tror jeg den vil skyte ny fart når vi kommer inn i oktober og det nærmer seg tiden for Q3 presentasjonen. Vil anta at kursen vil bevege seg godt opp på 70 tallet før Q3. I den grad Bellete på ny bekrefter at utplassering av scope og bruken av scope er akselererende, så tror jeg kursen raskt kan bevege seg opp mot kr 100,- før julegatene åpnes og bli liggende i området 110-120 når nyttår ringes inn.
Det vil si at vi kan forvente en dobling av kursen fra nå og frem mot nyttår. Urealistisk? Tje, det tror jeg ikke dersom ledelsen leverer varene på Q3 18.

Veldig overaskene at MARKEDET IKKE TAR DETTE INNOVER SEG
Hehe, innlegget så noe hysterisk ut når det caps locken hengte seg opp etter et lite uhell med kaffekoppen!
ja, det er utrolig, vi burde vært langt over tresiffret kurs.
Markedet vet Cysview er et flott produkt etc. Det som trengs er show me the money, noe som tradisjonelt har vært PHO sitt problem. Jeg tviler på om investorene er villig til å betale mye mer enn dette for PHO før man ser igjen at veksten fortsetter i USA. Oppdatert guiding ville også vært ok.
