GENERAL
- Added pre-order and edition specific items to PS5 players
- Last radio call will now provide a last warning before alarm goes off, and will not be interrupted by other radio dialogues
- Players can now not turn the camera during the full tased effect
- Added a fix for the “Cleanin’ It Out” achievement to pop up when the criteria is met
- Fixed an issue where the player doesn’t gain “Rush” when masking up while sprinting
- Fixed an issue where the player could bind “Throw item” and “Request overkill weapon” to the same keybind

- Changing languages in epic should now work
- Fixed a crash related to getting a random character when joining a game

- Closed the weapon experience exploit in 99 Boxes
BALANCE
For this patch, we wanted to primarily address minor fixes.
We are aware that Last Man Standing and Armor Up are performing a bit too well, so we plan to give them a few tweaks that keep them effective, but require a bit more setup compared to the benefits they offer. This will be in the next big patch. Outside of these two skills, we don’t expect any big nerfs coming to skills in the next patch, but given players are still getting used to the game, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the meta.
We are also aware that armor is considered the most desirable resource compared to ammo and health. We are happy with how armor itself works, but we want to put in a few more ways for players to restore it in the game. We also think health is underperforming right now, but addressing that will be a gradual change over the first year of updates, rather than one sweeping update.
SKILLS
- Using Manipulator Basic Skill will no longer cause an interaction interference when players do multiple interactions in a row
- “Battering Ram” skill can no longer be used to open blue keycard door on “Rock the Cradle”
“Battering Ram” skill can no longer be used to open the front door on “Touch the sky”
WEAPONS
- Added ability for knives to be thrown through broken shield visors.
- Fixed an issue where throwing knives couldn’t be picked up when the equipped primary or secondary weapon had full ammo
- Adjusted the Vertical Grip spawn point on weapon PC9
- Moved the magazine release lever on SA A144
- Fixed an issue with weapon recoil in lower FPS
ENEMIES
- Dozers will now get closer before engaging heisters with their shotgun
- Updated the enemy flashbangs to apply flash effect more consistently
- Player can no longer open doors leading to enemy spawn locations

UI
- Added a “Keep these display changes?” message after changing screen resolution.
- Fixed a minor typo in the loadout section
- UI update for favor reward in result screen
- Reduced description text size, in skill line menus
- Added ability for players to review the EULA again after creating their accounts
- Fixed an issue causing player names, and infamy levels, to not load correctly and displaying wrong information
- Fixed translation issue related to the whiskey bottle in “Touch the Sky”

- Added icons for when buffs are blocked due to certain skills
- Dropdown for offline friends in social screen should now be displayed correctly

AUDIO
- A sound of dropping a dead body onto the ground will now be played when players drop bodies

- Cinematic audio volume is now also affected by master volume
- Removed “break” VFX from throwing knives that don’t break when Retriever skill is equipped
- Added a fix for smalltalk between civilians and employees not triggering
- Added more small talk conversations between civilians
- Shade voice over will no longer play, when players return to the main menu after canceling matchmaking
- Improved the sound effect for opening crates
- Disabled the Shade VO about file clues when the actual documents have already been picked up
- Wolf now whisper instead of screams for medic bags during stealth gameplay
- Fixed an issue where dye packs would loop the audio when breaking while being disarmed
- Fixed an issue where civilian cellphone ringtones would loop forever
- Fixed an issue that could cause eye scanner to play incorrect VO when scanning the correct NPC

- Fixed an issue where the human shield takedown sound effect would not stop if you reload your gun while choking someone out
VISUALS
- Fixed a visual issue with deployables placed on moving objects that wouldn’t sync up for players joining an ongoing heist
- Fixed deployables floating in the air when placed on a surface that then moved, deployables will now fall to the ground.
- Fixed an issue with deployables floating when placed on certain doors
- Fixed multiple minor graphical issues on the front part of the bank on “No Rest of the Wicked”
- Fixed weapon animation issue when looking upwards and using tools
- Added a fix so that switching between sprinting and placing tools wouldn’t cause issues when sprinting.
- Fixed animation issue when SWATs are freeing hostages appearing as taking damage
- Fixed an issue on lower graphical settings causing the door of the escape helicopter to appear broken. (PC)

HEIST
- Melee damage no longer affects environment details that should only take damage from explosions/gunfire in Gold & Sharke
- Fixed missing collision, in a small area on the bank roof, on “No Rest for the Wicked”
- Removed an area that was tagged as “public” on the roof in “Under the Surphaze”
- Fixed a bug that led guards to sometimes walk through a closed door on “No Rest for the Wicked”
- Added a fix for the Security Door that was openable without a Blue keycard on “99 boxes”
- Added a missing out of bounds screen filter in “Under the Surphaze”
- Deployables no longer disappear when thrown through vents on “Touch the Sky”
- Added a fix for canceling sliding into panic room’s door on “Touch the Sky”
- Fixed the texture of the panic room’s door on “Touch the Sky”
- “Favors” and “Difficulty” are no longer visible in tutorials when holding Tab
- Players will no longer stutter when jumping and sprinting inside the truck on “99 Boxes”

KNOWN ISSUES
- Challenge stuck at 1/1 can now be unlocked by completing the challenge again or completing the highest difficulty challenge in the sequence
- The weapon charms and death wish reward from the PAYDAY 2 to PAYDAY 3 cross promotion campaign haven’t been properly granted. We hope to have this issue fully resolved by the next patch
En god start. Håper dette betyr at det blir enklere å patche fremover.
Synes at patchen var over forventning og jeg fryktet lenge det bare ville bli PS5 cosmetics + noen consolefixer. Det jeg uansett ikke forstår er at de ikke har hatt mulighet til å gi noe info om patchen før den går live. Tenker iallfall at etter den var sent til MS/Sony så burde man kunne si litt om hva den inneholdt ( f.eks PS5 cosmetics ).
Hvis de ikke har kontroll på dette nå så tror jeg at jeg gir opp SB.
Jeg skjønner heller ikke hva de driver med.
Hadde et game, ting funka bra. Men versionsnr på pc er ikke 1.0.1.
Men god start, nå bør den store patchen helst komme ila 2 uker. senest ila nov.
Grunnen til at star ikke gir patch notes før sertifisering er nok hvis en fix feiler i sertifiseringa.da kan man i værste fall utelate den i den endelige patchen. Bordet fanger hvis man har gitt ut patch notes.
De må nok jobbe på en annen måte.tidligere på pc kunne man kaste ut en patch og så hotfixe patchen en gang eller to kort tid etter.den tida er nok forbi.
Nå med crossplay må man planlegge mer. Patch sendt til sertifisering,da er det bare å gå i gang med neste patch mens man venter på dommen. Ikke sikkert slik de gjør det,men med crossplay får man noen utfordringer som de ikke hadde med kun pc. Til gjengjeld skal man ikke bare dumpe konsoll slik at konsoll versjonene ligger håpløst langt bak pc.
Og til gjengjeld, så kan kanskje payday 3 selge bra på konsoll. Der har PD3 heller ikke særlig konkurranse fra PD2.
Den build id’en som gikk live i dag hadde de klar for 13 dager siden så de jobber helt klart videre mens de venter. Tenker at neste patch bør kunne gå live i midten av November.
Ikke utenkelig at dette er det viktigste i dagens patch :

Litt interessant å se at spillertallene på steam er opp 15%+ i dag . Selv om dette er fra veldig lave nivåer ( rundt 2k ) så viser det litt av det som kommer til å skje når vi får nytt innhold og ikke bare bugfikser. Ser også ut som dette blir første dagen siden 19.oktober med flere positive enn negative reviews på steam.
Nå tror jeg det er for tidlig å dømme effekten enda, kom jo litt ut av det blå denne oppdateringen så blir spennende å se hva som skjer med spillertall i helgen. Men er litt uenig i at dagens nivå viser stort. Det er ikke imponerende å komme opp på ca samme nivå som samme tid forrige uke. Og som du selv sier så er det en oppgang i forhold til i går fra veldig lave nivåer.
Men vi får krysse fingre for at folk får med seg patchen og det blir litt mer aktivitet til helgen.
Det var jo ikke ventet stort. Her har de omtrent bare adressert bugs. Det er først når de kommer med litt nytt content, QoL for match making og progresjon at jeg tror vi vil se spillere vende tilbake. Håper de kommer med nytt content til sist, så kan de som vender tilbake få et godt spill med litt ny moro.
SB informerte om at patchen var sendt til godkjenning 25.oktober så vil ikke si at den kom “ut av det blå” Patchen er jo primært bugfikser på pc så forventet egentlig ingen endringer i trenden med tanke på spillertall. Kan sikkert diskuteres om det har hatt noen effekt og hvis det har hatt noen effekt blir den kortvarig. Som @Christian skriver så må vi ha bedre matchmaking, XP for heists og kanskje nytt heist før vi får en stor endring i antall spillere.
Forventer at neste patch har flere QoL oppdateringer og kanskje transporter skill line og dette vil nok ha større effekt på spillertall.
De greide aldri å meddele noe sted at patchen skulle komme i dag, derav “ut av det blå”. At det skulle komme en patch snart var kjent men hadde det vært en tidsangivelse på den med et par dagers forvarsel vil jeg tro flere kunne sittet klare for å laste den ned og teste om det var noe merkbar forbedring.
Er helt greit at det ikke var knyttet enorme forventninger til denne patchen men noe økning bør jo enhver patch gi (noen som vil sjekke den ut) så jeg synes bare du var litt vel positiv ved beskjedne 15% økning fra i går når du mener dette sier noe om hva som kommer til å skje ved nytt innhold.
Basert på det jeg har lest av kommentarer så virker det faktisk som det er andre forbedringer som er like viktig som nytt innhold for å få spillerne tilbake.
Tydelig at mange er skuffet over patchen på diskusjonsforum. Tror de burde forventningsstyrt denne patchen litt bedre. Ser det nå er 34 negative og 30 positive i dag. Tror jeg går litt på nevnte forventingsstyring.
Mange har sluttet å spille pga hvordan levlingen er . Systemet med at man må utføre challenges for å komme opp i level er ikke noe problem i starten men etterhvert krever det at man må spille spillet på en måte man normalt ikke ville gjort ( f.eks spille loud selv om man foretrekker stealth og bruke våpen man normalt ikke ville benyttet ).
Jeg tenker derfor at de 2 viktigste tingene er :
- Gi XP for å fullføre heists og ha flere stealth challenges
- Som et minimum bør man kunne søke etter loud / stealth heists
Hadde de fått på plass dette ville man nok fått tilbake en god del spillere selv uten nytt innhold.
Litt av problemet er kanskje hvordan de kjørte dev streamene i starten. Da hadde de jo stream nesten hver dag uten å gi noe info og tror mange etterhvert droppet å følge med. Jeg har fulgt relativt bra med og forventet i utgansgpunktet cosmetics på PS5 + noen consolefikser så jeg ble positivt overrasket.
Hatt noen games idag. Helt ok patch. Neste innen 2 uker så blir dette bra.
Patchen som kom nå har i stor grad fulgt den opprinnelige beskrivelsen fra 2 oktober. Da var det planlagt 2 patcher i løpet av november`ish med nytt inhold, før første DLC kommer før jul. Så selv om den første patchen var forsinket, så har de fortsatt tid til å følge den opprinnelige planen. Ville f.eks. vært fint om de kunne ha noe nytt innhold ute før Q3 presentasjon 16 november.
