shareholders held on 17 April 2019, 5,367,111 Common Shares held in treasury,
representing 1.76% of the number of issued common shares, were duly cancelled.
As a result, the issued share capital of the Company has been reduced by USD
10.7 million.

Following the cancellation, Subsea 7 S.A. held 1,922,107 shares in treasury
representing 0.64% of the total number of issued shares. Total shares in issue,
including shares held in treasury, were 300,000,000.

The updated Articles of Incorporation of the Company reflecting the reduction in
the issued share capital are available on the Company’s website.

2,150 metres water depth in the pre-salt Santos Basin.

The work scope includes the transport, installation and pre-commissioning of 35
kilometres of flexible pipelines and 20 kilometres of umbilical, connecting 5
wells to the FPSO Cidade de Caraguatatuba. Project management and detailed
engineering will commence immediately at Subsea 7’s office in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil. Offshore activities are due to commence in the fourth quarter 2019.

The engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contracts are
awarded for execution in consortium with L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), a
subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro.

The consortium’s workscope consists of EPCI for a total of 28 Jackets comprised
of eight new jackets to be installed in the Marjan and Zuluf fields, ten Jackets
in the Safaniya and Zuluf fields (including a pipeline decommissioning scope)
and a further ten Jackets in the Zuluf and Ribyan fields. Work shall commence
immediately and offshore execution is due to take place in 2020.

project in the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) field in the Caspian Sea in
a water depth of approximately 140 metres.

The work scopes comprise engineering and fabrication of subsea structures,
engineering, transport and installation of spools, the launching of a 16,200
tonne jacket and the float-over of an 18,500 tonne topside.

The contracts will be executed in consortium with BOS Shelf, which will be
responsible for the fabrication, logistics and facilities support. Engineering
work shall commence immediately from Subsea 7’s office in France and offshore
execution is expected to take place in 2021 and 2022.

Gilles Lafaye, Subsea 7’s Vice President Africa Region, said: “This project
reflects our long-term relationship and early engagement with BP Exploration and
builds on our Life of Field activities in Azerbaijan. We look forward to
increasing our presence in the Azerbaijani market with safe and reliable

Luxembourg - 04 October 2019 - Subsea 7 S.A. (Oslo Børs: SUBC, ADR: SUBCY) today
announced the award of a sizeable((1)) contract by Shell for the Pierce
depressurisation project, located approximately 160 miles offshore, east of
Aberdeen.

The contract scope involves the engineering, procurement, construction,
transportation and installation (EPCI and T&I) of a 30km gas export pipeline, a
gas export riser and associated subsea infrastructure, for tie-ins at the
Haewene Brim FPSO.

Project management and detailed engineering has commenced at Subsea 7’s office
in Aberdeen, with offshore activities scheduled for 2020 and 2021.

extensive knowledge of Shell’s North Sea developments, gained over almost 30
years of working closely together to deliver safe and cost-effective
construction, inspection, repair and maintenance operations across Shell’s

(FEED) study for the subsea umbilicals and flowlines system of the Ormen Lange
Field, operated by A/S Norske Shell, in the Norwegian Sea.

A/S Norske Shell awarded OneSubsea an engineering, procurement, construction and
installation (EPCI) contract to supply a subsea multiphase compression system.
Subsea 7’s scope under this contract includes front-end engineering design
(FEED), which will proceed to execution phase in the case of positive FID by A/S
Norske Shell and its partners, Petoro, Equinor, INEOS and ExxonMobil. The work
will be executed as a Subsea Integration Alliance((1)) project.

Subsea 7 has already recognised the value of the engineering studies in its
Order Backlog. The value of the execution contract will be recognised after FID,
following exercise of the option. Assuming FID is reached, it will be equivalent
to a sizeable((2)) project award for Subsea 7.

The subsea multiphase compression system provided by OneSubsea will be installed
at 850 metres of water depth and consists of two 16-megawatt subsea compression
stations tied into existing manifolds and pipelines. Power supply and control
will be provided by the Nyhamna onshore gas processing plant, which is located
120km from the subsea location. Once the subsea multiphase compression system is
installed, the tieback distance will represent a world record for transmitting
variable speed power from shore to seabed.

Monica Th. Bjørkmann, Subsea 7’s Vice President Norway, said, “This award is an
