Flerdobling av strømprisene får nok mange til å revurdere både etikk og moral.
Sitter nok langt inne ja. Men fint å importere atomkraft fra Frankrike når det trengs (for det gjør det jo støtt og stadig…)

Dessverre var det vel tverrpolitisk enighet i Tyskland for avvikling av atomkraft.
Men andre europeiske land ser annerledes på det, både UK og Italia er vel positive til utbygging bl.a.
Vent til strømprisen bikker 10-15kr kwh til vinteren.

Ja, man måtte legge ned alle kraftverk etter Fukushima. Forstå det den som kan. Det er jo ekstremt stor fare for tsunami i Tyskland 
Kommer nok til å bli en del som endrer mening om atomkraft over tid…

Det kunne jeg også gjort. Men det markedet er litt usikkert og mye av prismorroa på gass er tatt ut på future kontrkater.
Må være vannkraft da. For råvarene ( kull , gass og co2 ) er nå svindyrt.
Strøm produsert fra vann og atomkraft er vel det som gir mest balansert regnskap og er fremtidsrettet. Men mye av den norske vannkraften er det kanskje vanskelig å investere i?

Låner litt tekst fra et annet fora. Teori rundt hvorfor man ser lite kjøp fra Utilities enda.
We all know why the spotprice is rising. Sprott is buying a lot of Uranium and uranium-traders are trying to make a lot of money out of it. But there remains a question:
Why do utilities that own Nuclear Plants not jump on buying uranium yet?
Are they dumb sheep? Don’t they notice this price increase? The answer is no, for what I believe. They are not dumb sheep. This is what I believe:
If Sprott didn’t enter the market, nothing would have changed for the time being. So yes this upside is mostly caused by Sprott, buying Physical Uranium.
But my opinion is that even if Sprott didn’t enter the market, a shortage of Uranium is unavoidable.
Why you say?
Because the spotprice was half the cost of producing it.
So what will happen? You fire employees, you stop mining more uranium, you start focussing on selling the uranium you got out of the ground.
Then there is the question, well… why did the price of uranium go under the production costs?
Well let’s say you own a Nuclear plant in germany. And the government says: Close it. We will pay you subsidies if you close it. You say… okay fine. We will close it down. What will you do with all the uranium stored at your plants? You sell it! How do you sell it? On the spot market. Do other nuclear plants buy that instantly? No… because soon we might also close… We’re not willing to take that risk.
Now what happens if governments start to extend lifetime of those reactors? Right… you’re gonna need more uranium. But a nuclear plant costs a lot, and to keep it open and safe, you need subsides from somewhere.
Now look at the Trillion Infrastructure Bill, that is just passed by the senate. If I had a nuclear reactor, I would wait to buy uranium untill i get my subsidies. If I get my subsidies then I would immediately buy Uranium before there is none left.
Well the bill just passed by the senate last week, subsidies get divided.
Soon we will see subsidies allocated to the Nuclear plants.
That’s when I believe the uranium price will jump higher than it jumps right now.
I believe utilities don’t buy uranium yet, because they need certainty that they get subsidies to keep their nuclear reactors open.

Enda en grønn dag. ISO har av en eller annen grunn en inverse correlation med resten av det lille uran markedet haha.

Det har vært planen å gjenåpne reaktorene en stund mener jeg, men ser ut som at TTT der, forståelig nok.
