ZEN Graphene Solutions Ltd (ZEN.V)

Takk for tipset.

Zentek Ltd. (“ ZEN ” or the “ Company ”) (TSX-V:ZEN and OTC:ZENYF), a Canadian IP development and commercialization company focused on next-gen healthcare solutions, is pleased to announce that it has commenced receiving direct retail orders for ZEN Guard™-enhanced surgical masks under its Medical Device Establishment License (“ MDEL ”) recently issued by Health Canada, further to the Company’s press release dated November 29, 2021.

Thanks some time, maybe for one more question did you maybe touch on the recent up pulled back into share price over the last couple of months, and what might be behind that.

  • Greg Fenton

Sure, maybe, maybe the most asked question that i’ve had over the past six or eight weeks and I think it’s just been really a confluence of events.

We have evolved into a technology company and, if you look at the technology sector in general, over the last six or eight weeks we’ve seen a tremendous repricing.

of technology, if you look at the NASDAQ and some of the pre revenue and early revenue companies in the NASDAQ some of them are down 6070 80%, and these are high quality.

Companies, so I think we’ve just been caught up in an overall market correction.

We have never been in a stronger position, we now have $35 million on our balance sheet to execute our business plan we are generating revenue.

we’re seeing significant demand for our products were closer to getting additional products to market.

So we’ve never been in a better position, so you know from from day to day and week to week, the share price will.

You know move around, but it’s not reflective of what’s actually going on in the company so.

We continue to keep our heads down and working hard, and you know delivering on what we’re here to deliver on and the market will reward us appropriately I think we’re just going through you know a bit of a volatile time and with respect to risk pricing.

Neppe lov her her Norge?

Good morning,

After hearing from many concerned shareholders regarding the drop in share value over these last few weeks, I felt it time I called Francis.

Firstly he and Greg are as concerned as we shareholders are, however their focus remains the business at hand. The stock is being played right now, it’s out of their control, if the IIROC was concerned we would have seen some type of communication or action on their part. OSC has done a full review of zentek’s, past NR’s etc. zentek learned a lot from this experience and have taken steps to ensure future NR’s are up to the OSC standards and the timing as well.

I inquired about some sort of calming communication and he stated: he was advised by their “very seasoned lawyer” not to take that route. In these circumstances companies generally do not put out NR’s for the purpose of comforting shareholders. zentek is no longer a “penny stock” it is a growing company, they will continue to experience “growing pains” as the companies metrics evolve.

He stated: “everything is great on their end, they are busier than ever and they continue to build a great company with lots of positive catalysts in the pipeline.” NR’s will come out when the time is right, we need to trust the management we put in place. They have everyone’s best interest at hand, they remain focused on the “big picture” and the big picture has not changed - "in fact the picture is getting bigger.”

We have to remember trading in today’s world is so much different than 10 years ago. Almost everyone seems to have a trading account, the amount of day traders is growing exponentially, many lacking the necessary skills to be trading. Also we are seeing markets tumble as a whole.

We’ve invested in management we trust. Management continues to answer concerned shareholders calls and that is refreshing in itself. This team is not made up of your typical venture Cowboy CEO’s (The Bruce Duncans so to speak).

Francis could not and would not elaborate on progression but he did say he’s very very excited about the future. That statement alone keeps me focused on just how great my investment decisions will end up playing out.

Q2…

Zen2fiddy.

Silicon is poised to replace graphite as the dominant anode material in current Li-ion and future, next-generation batteries. However, silicon expands by over 300% when the battery is charged and discharged, which has limited commercialization efforts. Our lab, through ongoing efforts supported by Zentek and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, has developed an improved method to enable high capacity, high cycle-life anodes by encapsulating them in a protective, crumpled graphene shell using a simple spray drying approach often used to generate much of the world’s dry powders.

Ellers har Zentek også i det siste tilbakevist påstander fra Graphene Composite Ltd om “allegation regarding the theft of intellectual property”. Påstandene stammer fra over 1 år tilbake…

EDIT:

Regardless of what I think or say, or the opinion of the Seeking Alpha report, as an investor you have to look forward and decide if the stock price today is warranted and if there is upside in the future. Despite the recent disclosure of a year old legal proceeding, the Company has addressed this issue to my satisfaction, so it is a non-issue to me going forward. It raised C$33 M in January and has a quarterly cash burn rate of roughly C$2-C$2.5 M per quarter (and no debt), so they are fine for available working capital. They have several business segments being pursued, of which ZenGUARD™ actually started generating revenue in the final quarter of 2021. Now the onus is on you as an investor to decide if Zentek is worth its C$292 M market cap.

Stille på denne fronten her inne.

Zentek Announces Breakthrough Results in Viral Filtration Efficiency with Dust Loading

September 6, 2023

Zentek Ltd. (“ Zentek ” or the “ Company ”) (Nasdaq: ZTEK; TSX-V: ZEN), an intellectual property technology development and commercialization company is pleased to announce the results of a recent study comparing the Viral Filtration Efficiency (“VFE”) of its ZenGUARD™-enhanced MERV 9 filters with an uncoated MERV 9 filter. The testing was performed by the third-party lab LMS Technologies Inc. (“LMS”), which specializes in the testing and certification of filter manufacturers across the world, referring to the new American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (“ASHRAE”) standards for aerosolized particles and determining the impact of dust loading on VFE and particle filtration efficiency (PFE) as per ASHRAE 52.2 testing standards.

Key Findings:

Increased Viral Filtration Efficiency with Dust Loading: The VFE of ZenGUARD™-enhanced filters started with a significant advantage over equivalent non-coated filters, from 23.7% to 37.7%, a 59% enhancement or a 14% net gain overall. After the initial test, the VFE was remeasured after dust was added to the filters that was equivalent to 1, 2, 3 and 6 months of operation. At every dust loading, the VFE performance consistently increased faster for the ZenGUARD™-enhanced filters compared to the uncoated filters. At six months equivalent dust loading, the VFE of the ZenGUARD™-enhanced filter was 85.6% compared to 55.2% for the uncoated filter, a 28.4% net gain. The viral particles were suspended in 0.1um aerosols or smaller, equivalent to the lower range of E1 particles (<1.0um). Testing using this size of aerosol is significantly more rigorous than the testing methodology accepted in the new ASHRAE standard for control of infectious aerosols. These parameters and rationale are consistent with the testing that was performed for the Phase 2 Innovative Solutions Canada Challenge conducted by the National Research Council of Canada in the simulated classroom environment.

Consistent Pressure Drop: The pressure drop remained consistent between ZenGUARD™-enhanced and uncoated filters as dust loading increased, indicating that ZenGUARD™ does not adversely affect airflow or energy efficiency of the HVAC system.

Effective Particle Removal: ZenGUARD™-enhanced filters operated similarly to regular MERV 9 filters when tested for PFE, effectively removing particles across all size ranges (E1, E2, E3) as per ASHRAE 52.2 standards.

“This testing confirms that ZenGUARD™ HVAC filters not only have an initial VFE advantage over uncoated filters, but ZenGUARD™ provides improved protection against infectious aerosols over time as dust accumulates on the filter,” commented Greg Fenton, CEO of Zentek. “The impact of dust on the effectiveness of our technology has been one of the main unknown variables requiring clarity for industry and user groups interested in potentially adopting our technology. We addressed this critical metric with a leading-edge testing program conducted by LMS. We believe our ability to increase VFE without additional equipment or an increase in energy consumption is unique in the industry. Significantly, now that we have proven that dust doesn’t inhibit protection from ZenGUARD™ over the lifetime of the filter, and actually enhances it without additional pressure drop compared to uncoated filters, the ZenGUARD™ value proposition is that much more compelling for those looking for a simple solution to improve indoor air quality and people’s health.”

Zentek Completes Study Quantifying Energy and Emission Savings of ZenGUARDTM-Enhanced HVAC Filters

Guelph, ON

January 22, 2023, Zentek Ltd. (“Zentek” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: ZTEK; TSX-V: ZEN), an intellectual property development and commercialization company, is pleased to announce the completion of a new study highlighting the potential significant energy, emission and cost savings for commercial buildings adopting ZenGUARDTM Enhanced Air Filters.

As previously announced on February 6, 2023, and September 6, 2023, independent testing by the National Research Council of Canada (“NRC”) and LMS Technologies Inc. (“LMS”) demonstrated that ZenGUARDTM Enhanced Air Filters can significantly reduce the concentration of infectious aerosols indoors without adversely affecting airflow and energy consumption compared to using equivalent non-coated, MERV-rated HVAC filters.

Using the test results from the NRC and LMS, the study determined the amount of outside air required to be brought into a typical office space to achieve an equivalent risk reduction as using a ZenGUARDTM Enhanced Air Filter instead of a regular MERV 9 filter.

Key Findings

For a regular MERV 9 filter to achieve a reduction in infection risk consistent with a ZenGUARDTM Enhanced Air Filter, the percentage of outside air would need to be increased from 20% to 53%
By using a ZenGUARDTM Enhanced Air Filter to control infectious aerosols instead of increasing the percentage of outside air to achieve a similar risk reduction, the Company estimates that a typical office space of 10,000 square feet with 75 occupants can reduce HVAC energy consumption by approximately 62%
This reduction in energy consumption equates to monetary savings of approximately $12,400 per year and avoidance of 32 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year for each office space1 (the CO2 emissions equivalent of driving an internal combustion engine car approximately 188,000 kilometres 2, 3)
“We have learned through the pandemic that viruses spread almost exclusively when people are indoors, and one of the most common recommendations from governments and industry associations to help reduce this risk is to maximize the amount of outside air being brought into buildings. One of the drawbacks of increasing the percentage of outside air into buildings – especially in very hot or cold climates – is the energy and emissions required to condition the air to room temperature,” commented Greg Fenton, CEO of Zentek.

“With climate change and decarbonization being one of the biggest challenges facing society – and buildings contributing nearly 40% of global energy-related CO2 emissions – we need simple, scalable, carbon-conscious solutions that can control infectious aerosols and keep people safe. Whether it’s higher rated MERV filters that require more fan power and energy, air purifiers that have a meaningful manufacturing footprint and need a power source – or increasing the percentage of outside air – typically all other methods of controlling infectious aerosols require additional energy and create emissions in some way. Based on this study and our team’s research, we believe ZenGUARDTM Enhanced Air Filters are one of the only tools in the toolbox to help control infectious aerosols without significantly increasing energy consumption and emissions. And the ability for our product to accomplish this within existing HVAC systems that are already in most buildings means we can begin making a positive impact as soon as filters are replaced with the potential to quickly scale to many other buildings globally.”

Study Background
In addition to the assumptions disclosed in its September 11, 2023, press release, the Company used government and third-party energy consultant statistics to estimate the energy savings of using a ZenGUARDTM Enhanced Air Filter instead of a regular MERV 9 filter to control infectious aerosols indoors as opposed to relying on an increased percentage of outside air. The assumptions underlying the Company’s analysis are as follows:
Office space of 10,000 square feet with an occupancy of 75 people (or 133.33 square feet per person), one infector for every 10 people, 10-foot ceiling height, and air flow rate of 5,000 cubic feet per minute
10°C temperature gradient to condition air throughout the year
Average energy price of $0.15 per kWh
Minimum outside air percentage based on guidance from ASHRAE 62.1
Monetary savings expressed in Canadian dollars
Other potential considerations related to buildings and air handling unit operation have not been included in order to isolate and quantify the energy and CO2 impact of outside air temperature adjustment
Canadian Federal Government Energy Savings Opportunity
Extrapolating these results to all buildings within the Canadian Federal Public Service, the Company estimates that energy consumption could be reduced by 455.7 million kWh, which translates to monetary savings of $68.4 million per year. From a carbon emissions perspective, this is equivalent to approximately 58,200 tonnes of CO2 per year4 – an amount that would require nearly 960,000 tree seedlings growing for 10 years to absorb.5

The key assumptions underlying the Company’s analysis for the Federal Government are as follows:
5,511 Federal government office buildings (calculated using 413,334 employees, 75 people per office and 10,000 square feet per office)
All federal government buildings where these employees work use MERV 9 filters currently and convert to ZenGUARD™-enhanced MERV 9 filters
Space prototype assumptions consistent with those outlined in Study Background section above
The above analysis is disclosed for illustrative purposes only, and there can be no assurance that (i) the assumptions used by the Company in conducting its analysis are accurate and correct, (ii) the above analysis is or will be accurate or consistent with any third-party analysis, (iii) any third-party, including but not limited to, any governmental branch or office, awards or offers any contract
