Four phones stated by Elabs 2 days ago, not everything is then listed in that Q1 slide

edit. but they also state nothing about honor

Xiaomi announced one smartphone: the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro . vivo shipped three smartphones: the vivo IQOO Z10 Turbo Series and vivo Y300 GT Smartphones . For 2025 year-to-date, Elliptic Labs has launched on a total of 24 smartphone models.

We can maybe conclude that Elabs is not in Honor 400-series? ANd it’s uncertain for now if they have anything to do with Honor AI connect

The only one missing from the list is Xiaomi Civi, but that’s because it was released after Q1 presentation

Possible that it’s (Honor 400) not shipped yet, as GMS list Civi released May 22 (and Elabs announced shipped May 30)

Så begge disse ble annonsert på MWC 2025 …

if Honor @ MWC + ELABS @ MWC = true, så er det veldig bra
if Honor @ MWC + ELABS @ MWC = false, så er det ikke så bra

Men det er jo ekstremt underlig dersom disse to tingene ikke har en sammenheng.

(Edit: Ekstremt underlig er kanskje en overdrivelse.
Men da viser det hvor viktig speed-to-market er.)

Ser ut at vare skapligt vettig størrelse på den til skillnad fra typ alle androidmodeller som kun finns i XL og større.
Hvis de lanserer denne i Europa kommer den å selge i drivor.
En kommentar som ofte återkommer da jeg snokat etter mobiltelefoner er “før stor”. De seineste typ 5 åren har folk som vil ha en mobil man kan ha med seg uten å ha en bag til den varit nødd til å kjøpe en ifån. Og det vill man helst ikke.

Smart Sensing is a totally different thing. Do better research.

Yes- I am fully aware that they are not talking about AI connect, here is why it`s still relevant.

If Honor has chose to go with a proximity sensor and gesture control using a camera (both of which elabs has software alternatives) what do think the odds are that their connection app is built on Seamless?

And it will always have to be an app if you are going form one manufacturer to another.

(here they are speculation that it will be similar to oppo o+ connect

Hell, the eu is trying to force interoperability, but apple might rather chose to discontinue AirDrop in Europe.

No indications there’s anything wrong with these (so far). Intel has been more visible lately.

But the OEMs don’t use camera for proximity sensor at all.

Yes, speculation in February. Now there is actual news in May/June close to the release. I’m not saying it will be Elabs, but at least as per news it won’t have any apps required and it works with iOS.

Now we know 400 Series has Elabs US.

This increases possibilities for Elabs seamless sensor within the HONOR AI Connect. As this model should be the first ones that will have that.

Agree, read that sentence one more time : " chose to go with a proximity sensor (for proximity sensing duh ) and ( separately) using the front camera for gesture control- nowhere am I saying that the front camera is used for proximity

“t won’t have any apps required and it works with iOS” this is literally impossible as it would have to be baked into IOS - apples not will not do that, you are just not going to let that fantasy go are you - did you read apples response to the judgement ?

You are mixing many things here.

  • Elabs is on LL like I speculated beforehand
  • X Elite → status unknown for me

I’m not sure if iOS connectivity is dependant on Apple’s own wish at all. They are not providing it now, however Elabs has ‘cracked the code’ and can provide it as of today. Yes it could be possible that they can prevent it to some extent, but they can’t disable microphone, speakers, bluetooth, wifi, etc. from being used (and pairing of devices via these).

Er vel ting som tyder på at det er Elabs som leverer dette til denne. Men at Elabs ikke har meldt det enda. (mulig det meldes 6 juni)
