Einarsson snakker i siste Radium som om det er mest aktuelt med full eksklusivitet for AZ, for han sier at “dersom PCIB lander avtalen”, så har de “fortsatt to plattformer igjen”.

Vet ikke om eller hvordan det kan tolkes, men det var ihvertfall laveste volum i dag siden i slutten av november ifjor. Kun 29. januar i år var det nesten like lite, men kursen lå da 20% høyere.

We now seek a talented, motivated Associate Director to lead a preformulation team in Gothenburg, Sweden .
What You will do
This is an exciting role aimed at leading proof-of-concept testing of new drug delivery technologies and help us drive the delivery of amino-acid and nucleotide based therapeutics, drug targeting, and local delivery for the Biopharmaceutical R&D portfolio. This will include contributing to formulation scale-up and analytical methods for clinical development, when the activities are conducted via partnering.
Your broad understanding of the discovery to launch drug development process, and excellent stakeholder management skills will ensure your ADD team provides first class scientific input and enabling insight to key functions across Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biopharmaceutical R&D as a whole, and beyond. You will be reporting to the Head of Advanced Drug Delivery and collaborate closely with other ADD teams located in Waltham/US, Cambridge/UK and Gothenburg/Sweden.
Essential Requirements
- Ph.D degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Industrial or academic experience with new modality drug delivery, formulation and/or analytical method research or development
- Experience with outsourcing/partnering in formulation and analytical development
- Track record as a scientific leader in a formulation or drug delivery discipline, providing scientific challenge and direction to team members.
- Ability and proven track record in influencing drug substance and product design
- Knowledge of the overall drug research and development process from Discovery through to Launch, and an appreciation of how Pharmaceutical Sciences disciplines contribute to R&D and the broader business
- Understanding of the Astra Zeneca’s disease areas to enable influencing of drug and drug product design.
- A leader of a product development scientific skill discipline including external visibility through publications, presentations and networking activities. Capable of and desire for continuing to develop self in this arena.
- Exposure to multiple disciplines in Pharmaceutical Development or Chemistry Manufacturing or Controls, and related functions
- Prior experience of leading, coaching and developing a team of scientists and experience of leading and managing change processes
- Innovative, with a passion for driving scientific excellence and a continuous improvement mind-set.
- Strong project management skills, with experience of managing external collaborations.

Null selgere er jo veldig positivt og betyr at man lett kan/må løfte kursen for å få volum men litt trist at ikke flere legger synlige kjøpsposter ( med volum) litt nede i kursbilde. Selv legger jeg som oftest synlig 10 eller 20k om jeg har bestemt meg for å øke.
Har div andre poster jeg teller på knappene om jeg skal ofre for å øke i PCIB da jeg blir mer overbevist for hver dag at dette vil gå veien men ikke noe er null risiko så vet da f… hva som er lurt?
Bruker dem 10-12 mnd og ender UTEN avtale så blir nok min tilstand nær koma noen dager og må få reker og rødvin intravenøst.

Ble litt mer optimistisk hva gjelder tidsbruk for å lande en avtale jf Radium podcasten i dag. Det @Forsk snakket om rundt Ultimovacs. Det har fortsatt ikke kommet en melding, positiv eller negativ, hva gjelder AZ samarbeidet. Dvs at AZ ikke har meldt ifra om at de ikke er interessert. Det skulle meldes markedet med en gang hvis så blir tilfelle…

Outstanding! Nothing pleases me more then this… more puzzle pieces being added 
to my list for a possible AZ deal. I guess we have to wait close to Xmas after all, but so worth the wait. Wonderful!!

Ville absolutt ikke kalt det absurd @h3nk1 . Hvor mye man vektlegger det er en annen ting og jeg er helt enig i at det er for tynt til å brukes som en form for bekreftelse.
Når AZ ansetter innen ADD og spesifikt utlyser egenskaper som tidligere erfaring med eksterne samarbeid, mRNA, endringsprosesser og partnerskap er det etter min mening interessant. Vet ikke hvor mange andre selskaper som driver med leveringsteknologi og i tillegg har avslørt samarbeid med AZ, der avgjørelse kommer innen kort tid. Men at det kan være tiltak basert på fremtidig oppkjøp av NAc / evt. annen form for avtale skal man ikke se bort fra.
Jeg vektlegger ikke annonsene særlig mye i min avgjørelse på hold eller selg, men det er som all annen informasjon med på å danne et bilde. Det fundamentale går foran alt, og er grunnen til at jeg blir til Chem er på markedet.

Takk for svar - spør av ren nysgjerrighet. Kjenner ikke caset ut og inn, og lurte på i hvilken grad disse spekulasjonene kan/bør tillegges vekt.
Interessant er det absolutt. Det sagt, så skulle man tro at utlysninger ikke slippes før avtale/avtaler er signert og offentliggjort - av flere hensyn som veier tungt i biotek (konfidensialitet, NDAs, konkurrenter mv.).
Dere som er godt bevandret i PCIB-historien har mye bedre forutsetninger til å vurdere det ovenstående enn undertegnede. Ikke noe hadde vært hyggeligere om PCIB fikk avtalen.

“Det vanskelige med teknologiplattformselskaper; så er alltid utfordringen at det er ikke alle som tror på det til å begynne med, og i hvert fall ikke hvis det er banebrytende, som begge disse teknologiene er [Vaccibody og PCIB], og da å sitte i et tidligfaseselskap og velge hvilken del av teknologiplattformen du skal fokusere på, for du må fokusere, for du har begrenset med midler, for å få nok interesse.”
AZ har åpenbart interessen, selv om PCIB har brukt veldig begrenset med midler på denne delen av teknologiplattformen…
