Ship Building in the US industry outlook (2022-2027) - IBIS report. Juli 22
“The Ship Building industry is anticipated to expand over the next five years to XXX, on the back of steady increases in federal funding for defense in the United States. Demand for industry-related energy vessels and other private vessels is also expected to continue growing over the outlook period. As the US Navy attempts to meet its objective of creating a fleet that can encounter the challenges of the coming years, demand for new naval vessels is expected to rise amid global uncertainty. Furthermore, US oil and natural gas production is projected to slowly rise, following COVID-19 (coronavirus) induced declines. As a result, the need for tankers and other related vessels will remain afloat, enabling industry players protected by the Jones Act”
