Presidentvalget USA 2024

Bra kart Morti.

“Or this map I threw together using Daily Kos Elections calculations showing the Presidential winner by Congressional District — Clinton won only 205 districts to Trump’s 235, despite winning the popular vote.”

Over til viktigere ting.

Er enkelte som er veldig opptatt av å skryte av seg selv , så for morro skyld så spurte jeg chatgpt om den visste om noen Trump løgner. Den spyttet ut følgende;

Trump claimed that his inauguration crowd in 2017 was the largest in history. However, photographic evidence and public transportation data showed that the crowd size was significantly smaller than that of Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration.

Trump frequently took credit for economic achievements that were continuations of trends from the Obama administration. For example, he often claimed to have created the best economy ever, but key metrics like job growth and stock market increases had begun to rise during Obama’s tenure.

Trump repeatedly claimed that the United States was leading the world in terms of its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the country having one of the highest per capita infection and death rates. He also made false claims about the availability of testing and medical supplies early in the pandemic.

Trump claimed that he had built hundreds of miles of new border wall. While construction did take place, much of it was replacement or reinforcement of existing barriers rather than new wall.

Trump claimed that his tax cuts were the biggest in history. While significant, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 was not the largest; other tax cuts, such as those implemented by Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, had a larger impact on GDP.

Trump claimed that his renegotiation of NAFTA (resulting in the USMCA) was a completely new trade deal and a vast improvement. However, many experts and analysts noted that the USMCA was largely similar to NAFTA, with some modifications.

Trump claimed he would replace the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) with a much better health care plan that would cover everyone and be more affordable. However, no comprehensive replacement plan was ever introduced or passed during his tenure.

Trump has claimed to have donated millions of dollars to charity. Investigations, including those by The Washington Post, found that many of his claims were exaggerated or unverifiable, and in some cases, he used his charity’s funds for personal and business expenses.

Trump claimed Trump University provided a high-quality education and was a great success. However, the institution was the subject of numerous lawsuits and complaints, ultimately leading to a $25 million settlement for defrauding students.

These examples illustrate a pattern of exaggeration and misrepresentation in Trump’s public statements and claims.

Households with incomes in the top 1 percent will receive an average tax cut of more than $60,000 in 2025, compared to an average tax cut of less than $500 for households in the bottom 60 percent, according to the Tax Policy Center (TPC)

Trump Administration officials claimed their centerpiece corporate tax rate cut would “very conservatively” lead to a $4,000 boost in household income.[5] New research shows that workers who earned less than about $114,000 on average in 2016 saw “no change in earnings” from the corporate tax rate cut, while top executive salaries increased sharply.[6] Similarly, rigorous research concluded that the tax law’s 20 percent pass-through deduction, which was skewed in favor of wealthy business owners, has largely failed to trickle down to workers in those companies who aren’t owners.[7] Like the Bush tax cuts before it,[8] the 2017 Trump tax cut was a trickle-down failure.

First, in addition to the top 1 percent receiving very large tax cuts, the 2017 law delivered the largest average tax cut — measured as a percentage of pre-tax income — to households in the 95-99thpercentiles. Their tax cut from the 2017 law amounts to 3.2 percent of their pre-tax income, on average (or nearly $13,000, on average).[18] This is more than triple the roughly 1 percent average percentage income gain of the bottom 60 percent.[19] (See Figure 2.)

Fred Krueger:

Dubai has implemented “Kruegernomics”

  1. ultra low tax rate
  2. tight immigration rules
  3. crackdown on crime
  4. pro-business policy
  5. 21st century public infrastructure.

Formula is bright and clear: Hong Kong (pre 1997). Singapore. Dubai.

Imagine that for the USA

During Donald Trump’s presidency, the number of false or misleading claims he made has been extensively tracked by various fact-checking organizations. The Washington Post’s Fact Checker, one of the most prominent sources for this data, reported that Trump made over 30,000 false or misleading claims during his four years in office. This count includes a wide range of statements on various topics, made through different mediums such as speeches, tweets, and interviews.

It’s important to note that this figure includes not only outright lies but also misleading statements and exaggerations. Different fact-checking organizations may have slightly different methodologies, but the general consensus is that the number is in the tens of thousands.

For a more detailed breakdown, you can refer to comprehensive reports from sources like The Washington Post, Politifact, and FactCheck.org.
