Haugesund, 7 September 2022: Reach Subsea ASA, the trusted data and subsea service provider for ocean-based industries, has recently signed contracts amounting totally in excess of NOK 200 million, including an important strategic contract in the Brazilian market, which was signed today. The contract is the first result of a strategic partnership with a Brazilian offshore company.

“The contract in Brazil is very important for us, not only because of its large size, but also since expansion in Brazil has been high up on our agenda for a long time, and now we are taking the first step. The market is large, and we have a great product offering following the acquisitions of iSURVEY and OCTIO, which will be further strengthened when we launch our first autonomous, unmanned offshore vessels, Reach Remote, next year. Together with our new Brazilian strategic partner, we have now opened up a market with significant growth potential for us,” said CEO of Reach Subsea, Jostein Alendal.

The assignment in Brazil is for the main season 2023 and involves one offshore vessel with two work class ROVs (WROVs) and personnel.

“This week’s contract signings are another set of confirmations of Reach Subsea’s good position in an accelerating market for subsea services. We have strong technology, a good reputation, and with our broadened service offering, we can leverage the strong market in a tremendous way,” said Jostein Alendal.

Norway inspects subsea gas pipeline after Nord Stream blasts

The Havila Subsea, an oil service vessel equipped with remotely operated subsea vehicles, was deployed on Oct. 5 to survey the Europipe II pipeline that runs from the Kaarstoe gas plant in Norway to Dornum in Germany, Refinitiv vessel-tracking data shows.

Jostein Alendal, chief executive of Reach Subsea (REACH.OL), which operates Havila Subsea, told Reuters the inspection was ordered by Equinor (EQNR.OL), which carries out pipeline inspections on behalf of offshore gas system operator Gassco.

Haugesund, 14 October 2022: Reach Subsea ASA, the trusted data and subsea service provider for ocean-based industries, has today signed a larger contract, and has recently also been awarded several contract extensions. The contracts encompass projects in Trinidad and Tobago, and Northern Europe, and is an indication of good development in terms of utilisation of our resources for Q4 2022 and into Q1 2023.

Now, we are looking forward to serving our customers in Trinidad and Tobago again for the first time after the pandemic. REACH SUBSEA ASA – SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDING DISLOSURE: iSURVEY HOLDING AS AND NORVESTOR VI, LP
Reference is made to the shareholding disclosure made by iSurvey Holding AS (the “Company”) on 17 February 2022 in connection with the acquisition by Reach Subsea ASA (“Reach”) of all shares in iSurvey Group AS, whereby the Company received consideration shares in Reach (the “Reach Shares”) currently representing 15.05% of the total shares and voting rights of Reach.
Given that the Company holds no material assets beyond the Reach Shares, it is contemplated that the Company shall be dissolved and ultimately liquidated, whereby the Reach Shares will be distributed to the Company’s shareholders for each of them to hold the Reach Shares directly. The liquidation was resolved on 10 October 2022 and is expected to be completed by 31 December 2022.

Following the liquidation, the Company will hold no shares, rights to shares nor any other financial instruments related to shares in Reach.
Further, and following the liquidation of the Company, Norvestor VI, LP - a fund managed by Norvestor Investment Management S.a.r.l - will hold, directly or indirectly through a wholly owned affiliate, shares and votes, but no rights to shares nor any other financial instruments related to shares, in Reach, representing in excess of 10% of the total shares and voting rights in the company. The exact number of shares and votes in Reach that Norvestor VI, LP will receive will depend on the final outcome of the liquidation process.

Haugesund, 22 November 2022: Reach Subsea ASA, the trusted data and subsea service provider for ocean-based industries, has today signed a conditional LOA for a significant project in West Africa (WAF), through which Reach Subsea will be a sub-contractor to a major tier-one contractor.

The assignment encompass support for installation and anchoring of an offshore unit, which implies a valuable broadening of Reach Subsea’s spectrum of services. Included in the scope are significant survey and positioning tasks to be undertaken by Reach Subsea subsidiary iSurvey. The project will be initiated towards late Q1 2023, and is expected to last well into Q2 2023.

With this cLOA, and including several other recent contract awards and extensions, Reach has won contracts with an expected value of approximately NOK 300 million in the period since the Q3 2022 report.

“We experience a solid market for subsea services. This significant contract improves our order backlog considerably and is evidence of the strong value proposition of our complete and integrated offering - including survey and positioning services delivered by our new colleagues in iSurvey. It confirms our ability to successfully compete for a broad range of complex assignments across the globe,” said CEO of Reach Subsea Jostein Alendal.

Reach Subsea will charter a hybrid powered AHC/offshore construction vessel, mobilized with a work class ROV for the project. The project has been awarded based on a strategic cooperation with key stakeholders for delivering high quality engineering and vessel solutions to the floater installation market.
