Russian Federation produces 250,000 artillery shells a month, which is almost three times more than partners can provide to Ukraine, CNN reported, citing alliance estimates. Artillery factories in Russia work around the clock in three shifts, the NATO official said. Moscow also buys shells from DPRK and Iran, among others. According to several sources, the Ukrainian army is now experiencing a “shell hunger.” According to these data, the Russian Federation uses about 10 thousand shells per day, Ukraine - about two thousand. “What we are in now is a production war,” a senior NATO official told CNN. “The outcome in Ukraine depends on how each side is equipped to conduct this war.” Western countries are looking for opportunities to buy the necessary shells in foreign markets and increase production.

Wondering why journalists keep comparing Russian 203mm, 152mm, 122mm, MRLs and mortar production against ONLY NATO 155mm production.
We have more than 155mm, you know.
