Kanskje greit å ta premisset for boken med her: Året er 2028, og det er en ny leder (ung karismatisk) i Russland, som på overflaten vil ha “rehabilitering” av relasjonene med vesten (men dette er bare spill for galleriet). Så invaderer Russland grensebyen Narva i Estland (ca. 50k innbyggere, svært mange russere der fortsatt), men ikke mer. Og NATO / Europa vet ikke helt hva de skal gjøre. For det er jo så limited. Og så rakner bare NATO fra innsiden.
