Ingen tvil om at “et par hundre” sansynligvis er altfor lavt.
Det overrasket meg at Assaads folk virket å slippe unna med det relativt greit, men det var tydeligvis bare for å konsolidere makt før man kjørte på.

Best case hele veien var vel at det uungåelig ville bli knust noen menneskelige egg i den nærmest umulige prosessen for å få laget noe som ligner på en omelett (et Syria med fremtidshåp). At noen fraksjoner med tilknytning til landets leder faller tilbake til gamle synder er således ikke veldig sjokkerende. Med muligheten til å bli en anelse beroliget av de første rapportene om at det var uakseptabelt og ville bli gransket. Men det var etter de første rapportene. Om det nå har gått fra noen titalls, via hundrevis til tusenvis… vel 
Får bare håpe tross alt at tallene er kraftig feil. Av så alt for mange grunner…

Sekterisk vold i Syria var jo et av de store skrekkscenarioene ved regimets fall. Har vært overgrep alle veier i løpet av borgerkrigen.
Det er jo heller ikke sånn at det ikke har foregått overgrep fra det gamle regimet:
Så dette blir jo nå et spørsmål om det nye regimet i syria klarer å stoppe overgrep mot sivile, uansett hvem de tilhører.
Veldig mange av filmene man ser på bluesky er det helt umulig å vite hvem gjelder og når det er, som er grunnen til at man trenger verifisert info.

O Sheikh, I, Abu Obeida, urge you to prosecute these criminals. They should not stay among us. O Sheikh, if we hadn’t known you as a rightful, faithful, and good person who believes in God, we wouldn’t have followed you for this reason. Because you are a rightful person. Syria er så fullt av hat og motsetninger, at det å skape fred er en ufattelig vanskelig sak.
Spørsmålet nå er hvor mye av disse massakrene som skyldes myndighetene eller ikke. Er det satt i scene av de nye makthaverne, eller er det som følge av elementer utenfor kontroll?
